Question: Has Marco Beltrami's score for this film ever been released as a CD? I have looked around quite a bit, but have never found it.

Answer: Yes. It's been released in the USA (Varese Sarabande 302 066 365 2) and in Germany (VSD 6365).

Question: What is the name of that song played in the House of Pain when they first enter the nightclub hall?

Answer: The song is called Tao Of The Machine, and is performed by BT and the Roots. It can be found on the Blade 2 Soundtrack CD.

Question: Why aren't Nyssa and the other vampire fried by the big UV grenade? Sure, they dove underwater, but light doesn't diffuse THAT much underwater. I'm using the logic from an entry's correction that the UV light bounced around the corners is still enough to kill reapers, so it ought to kill them too.

Answer: In Blade I we saw that with sunscreen and the avoidance of direct exposure Deacon Frost and his lackeys could go out by day. The reapers are probably two or three times more sensitive than normal vampires so the exposure was probably not long or direct enough to kill the regular vampires.

Question: In the House of Pain, just prior to the attack of the Reapers, they start playing a techno track (you can see Reinhardt nodding his head to the rhythm). What's the name of the track and where can I get it?

Answer: I never saw Reinhardt nodding his head, but the song that is playing exactly when the Reapers attack is Child of the Wild West - Cypress Hill & Roni Size which is availible on the Blade II soundtrack. If this is not it, I am pretty sure any techno featured in the movie is on the soundtrack, which is a decent buy.

Question: The head of the Vampire Nation is named Damaskinos. Does this name have any significance outside the movie?

Answer: Damaskinos was a Greek Archbishop. He became bishop of Corinth, and in 1938 he was elected archbishop of Athens.
