Revealing: Whenever the moving Batmobile is emitting flames from the afterburner, like when it leaves the Batcave for the first time, an object is hung below the exhaust port that resembles a camcorder. The gadget is part of the equipment added to make the car shoot flames while moving. During the TV series, flames are only seen in close-up of the car motionless, as this was a prop comprised of a copy of just the last few feet of the car. On TV, the car's rear license plate is visible. In this film, it's partially blocked by the added equipment.

Trivia
The Batmobile could not go faster than 40mph. See more...
Revealing: The Batcave was a stage set with no real exit for the car. So when the car exits for the first time here, one shot is looking into the cave from the tunnel as the Batmobile approaches and passes to our right. Just before the shot ends, the rear end of the car jumps upward and tire skid marks appear on the floor as the driver slams on the brakes to avoid hitting the studio wall that is out of the shot, while the audio suggests the car is still accelerating.
Revealing: When the Batmobile emerges from the Batcave for the first time, the guard rail lays down and the car turns toward our right, disappearing in a cloud of dust. Watching carefully reveals the dust is being kicked up because the car was over-accelerated by the stunt driver, and spun out, heading back into the roadside brush.
Revealing: After leaving the Batcave for the first time, the Batmobile is shown from overhead, cruising down the road. It's painfully obvious the occupants are not Burt Ward and Adam West.
Visible crew/equipment: As the Batcoper emerges from its hangar, multiple crew and equipment are reflected in the cockpit's glass bubble.
Continuity: When the Batmobile arrives on the pier, it's parked with its front end facing open ocean (against the orange contraption on the dock) and its tail toward dry land. But when Batman and Robin return and phone the Navy, the car has reversed direction (tail now against the contraption). It's not likely Batman would arrive back at the pier, start the car, turn it around, park in the same spot, shut the car off, reopen the doors and then make a call, only to then drive away.
Revealing: When the Batboat leaves the dock, heading out to sea, the blurred rotors of the camera helicopter are constantly seen across the top of the shot.
Other: When Batman and Robin watch the Polaris missile being launched from Penguin's submarine, they are facing toward dry land, while the ocean is behind them.
Revealing: All the rear shots of the Batmobile in motion show flames emitted from the afterburner. But in the shot of it leaving the pier, the flames go out a few moments before the shot ends. The effects equipment failed or ran out of fuel.
Continuity: When Bruce Wayne escapes from the United Underworld (Joker, Penguin, Riddler and Catwoman), he climbs to the top of their hideout (Ye Olde Benbow Taverne) and jumps from the top of the roof (to the water below). But in the next shot, Bruce now jumps from the edge of the roof and dives into the water.
Other: When Bruce Wayne enters Wayne manor after his escape from the criminal hideout, Bruce opens the door and closes it, but it doesn't latch. The door starts to swing open and then suddenly closes, as if a stage hand was there to close it.
Continuity: As the Batmobile arrives at the pier, it turns into a parking space, one of two available between a green VW Beetle and a white station wagon. In the close-up as Batman and Robin exit the car, the spaces on both sides of the Batmobile are empty. Judging by the location of the "Moby Dick" sign at the edge of the pier, the white wagon has disappeared.
Revealing: When Batman brings the Penguin to the Batcave the Batmobile skids to a stop on the gray floor. It then begins to rotate in the next shot and it's now on a black platform. When the Penguin emerges from the car and walks toward the rear of it, the platform is obviously gone.
Visible crew/equipment: In the final fight scene on top of the submarine you can see the ripples and shadows on the painted sky backdrop behind the submarine.
Continuity: When the Batmobile is going to park (before the bomb scene) there is a sign saying "Mobey Dick Parking Only". When he is later carrying the bomb and passes by the Batmobile the sign is not there.
Revealing: When the Penguin is sliding down the zip line, just before he hits Batman you can see Batman throwing a punch at nobody, he is swinging at empty air.
Continuity: Near the end of the film we visit the office where the country representatives had argued earlier. Batman sets up the chemical equipment to bring them back. When it's done, where has the equipment on the seats gone?
Other: Robin yells "Holy Polaris" before the rocket even breaks the surface of the water.
Other: The scene where the Penguin is dehydrating his henchmen. Watch as the last henchmen is dehydrated - the shot changes to the Penguin and the Riddler. You hear the Riddler's laugh but his lips don't move until the end of the laugh.
Revealing: In the first shot of Adam West and Burt Ward driving in a beige '66 Imperial convertible, the camera zooms out above the car - but not before you can see that the two men in the car are stand-ins for Adam and Burt.
