Continuity: When Jacob, Samuel, and Huener go to the real estate office, it is sunny out. But when they are in the office, you can see through the window that it is raining outside. A couple of shots later, it's sunny again and people are walking by the window.
Other: When Bob is hailing a taxi as he skips town, as the taxi gets closer you can see that the taxi is marked off-duty.
Continuity: In the scene when the 2 FBI agents are driving around after Brad Sexton after he has left the bank, the window of the car with the 2 agents in it is rolled up in one shot, next shot from inside car shows driver window to be down, but a wide angle of the car going shows it up again.
Continuity: When Brad and Bob are talking about the "Shiatzu 2000", Brad pulls out a face mask and starts putting it on. But during this it cuts to a shot from his back and he is now not fastening the mask to his face, even though he could not have had that fixed in such a short time.
Visible crew/equipment: When Brad finally finds a taxi, he opens the door and hops in the back. When Brad opens the door, in the little side window of the back door, you can see the camera reflected in the window.
Visible crew/equipment: When Brad first finds the store in Intercourse, he is looking through the window to see if there is a telephone. As he opens the door to the store, a camera shadow is visible on the door.
Visible crew/equipment: When Brad is running through the park looking for a taxi, when Brad stops to look around, the camera and cameraman's shadow can be seen cast on Brad's back for a split-second.
Continuity: When Caroline is talking to little Anna about Henner and Hannah and the meaning "You go girl", watch the position of the doll in Caroline's arms. It changes between shots.
Visible crew/equipment: When the IRS men run to the car in pursuit of Brad, when Inspector Lester opens the car door, a set light can be seen reflected in the car door.
Continuity: In the scene where Brad and Caroline are fighting (the first time before they go into their separate bedrooms), watch Caroline's cigarette, it goes from long, to a medium size, and it keeps switching back. Also, the amount of ash on her cigarette changes between shots.
Continuity: In the scene where the judge's dress catches on fire, Brad throws the wine to put the fire out. He uses a wine glass. But at the end of the scene when the judge storms off, Brad is now holding a martini glass with no time to change.
Continuity: In the scene where Brad is trying to plow the field with Big John, watch the sky, in the first couple of shots you can see the sky is fully blue and not a cloud in them, but when Big John drags Brad away, the sky is cloudy.
Continuity: The blonde streaks in Kirstie Alley's hair appear and disappear all throughout the movie. This is especially noticable in the bedroom scene on the first night they stay at the Yoders.
Visible crew/equipment: When Brad is in the taxi and is stopped at the stop light, when the camera pans up to the taxi door, in the black surface of the view mirror on the exterior of the taxi, you can see a cameraman travelling with the camera reflected.
Visible crew/equipment: When Caroline says, "Another brilliant idea by Brad Sexton" in the bedroom, watch the window. When Brad says, "We'll sleep late," you can see a lowering camera and a couple of crew members reflected in the window next to Brad.
Continuity: In the last scene where Brad and Caroline are apologising to Sam, when he says, "You think we didn't know?" and Caroline says, "Yeah", her head is straight, but the next shot her head is on a right tilt.
Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Brad is leading Big John to pull the tree stump out of the ground, in one shot a camera shadow is cast on Brad's right arm.
Visible crew/equipment: When Bob and Brad are in the elevator, just as the door closes, the reflection of a camera can be seen in the gold reflective surface of the door.
Visible crew/equipment: When Lester is unsuccessful at trying to get Brad, he goes back to the car and when he drives off you can see the camera reflected in his back window.
