The locomotive used to haul the train that takes Mr. Appleton back to Liberty after facing judgement is an Alco Century series - which weren't around in 1951. Nowadays, the locomotive type is actually semi-vintage, but it is obvious that this particular one has been patched up and modified over the years. It has intercoolers, ditch- lights above the pilot and a blank nose where the lower set of headlights used to be. In 1951, the locomotive would have been a steamer, or an early EMD F3 or Alco PA Diesel streamliner. See more...

Entry In the movie Sand Pirates the villain holds up a gold statue head. It's the same gold statue head that Indy retrieves from the Incan temple in Raiders of the Lost Ark and rumoured to be enshrined in Lucas's living room. The Majestic writer/director Frank Darabont is a close friend of Lucas, writer of Young Indiana Jones, and also rumoured to be writing Indy 4.
Entry The voice of Luke during the reading of the letter is Matt Damon.
Entry When Jim Carrey leaves the bar that he was drinking in with the monkey, check the sign behind him - it says Coco Bongo. The Coco Bongo Clup is the new club in another Jim Carrey movie, "The Mask".
