Bad Taste (1987) - 69 mistakes

Visible crew/equipment: When Barry shoots the alien following him, he hit’s the axe head twice. Both times you can see a wire running up to the axe, probably to set of the shots.

Continuity: When Barry is getting followed across the beach by the guy, Barry shoots him once and blood falls on to the floor, and also on to Barry's face. He shoots the guy a second time in the head, and the view is from behind as the guys head explodes. If you look at Barry during this shot, you'll see his face is clean of any blood once there, but then it returns in the next shot.

Revealing: When Barry has shot the alien in the head at the beach the camera is filming the aliens feet as the blood starts dripping. Then the camera start moving up and when the camera reach the alien's waist level you can see a sudden cut. This is done so the fake alien puppy with half its head gone can be used.

Continuity: The water/rocks around Barry after killing the alien to when it cuts to Derek through his binoculars seem to change.

Continuity: As Barry puts the body of the alien into the grass, his right shoe is clearly visible with no blood on it. In the next shot though, he says he should ring his strides out, we then see his right shoe covered in blood.

Visible crew/equipment: When the collector is checking his map, you can see a crewmember reflected in the small window and the shiny sliver window edge.

Continuity: In close-ups, the gun that drops from Barry’s pocket is sitting on a piece of wall plaster that fell off when he got attacked by the aliens in the shed. However the gun isn’t there in any wide shots.

Continuity: In the start of the film you see "the boys" driving in their car talking on a C.B. to another man in the group they are meeting. If you notice the one doing the talking spends most of the time with the CB backwards using the mounting notch by his face, but when the scene switches from inside the car to outside it is turned around the correct way.

Visible crew/equipment: In the scene where Derek pulls the large knife out of the alien's foot and gets blood on his face he stands up and almost falls of the cliff. To the left in this shot you can plainly see a crewmember in a dark blue shirt, probably there to jump in if an accident should happen.

Continuity: When blood is splattered on Derek´s glasses from the alien hanging in the rope, he turns away and in the next scene the blood is gone.

Audio problem: When the camera is filming Barry from behind, he is talking about the alien and says "He must have been going somewhere". You can see his mouth isn't moving.

Visible crew/equipment: When the blood from the alien is pouring over Derek, some crew members are visible in Derek's glasses.

Continuity: When Derek shoots a hole through an alien, the alien falls over him almost going to the ground. When it cuts, the alien's head is side by side with Derek's head.

Continuity: The way that Derek's scarf is tied, and the position of it, and the way it hangs etc., changes between various shots throughout the movie. One good example is when he pulls the gun out of the stupid alien's body.

Continuity: When Derek is holding onto the rope at the cliffs, we see the alien cut the rope. Later we see Derek holding onto the rope again.

Visible crew/equipment: When the alien with the sledgehammer in his head falls to the floor in a shot from behind, you can see a black pad he's wearing, and a white hose which is running up his shirt, used to pump the blood.

Continuity: When Robert jumps out in surprise and grabs Derek, as Derek tries to keep his balance on the cliff, there is a big brown bush behind him which wasn’t there before.

Continuity: On the cliff, Robert jumps out and grabs Derek. Robert punching Derek square in the chest is shown between two different angled shots. In the first shot, as Robert pulls his clenched fist backwards, Derek’s scarf has disappeared.

Revealing: When Derek falls and is rolling down the cliff, it is a very clear dummy. It's legs and arms are in a stiff seated position.

Continuity: As he rolls down the cliff, one of Derek’s shoe fall off, but they’re both back on when we see him land on the rock.
