Mistake Continuity: When Ramathorne and Rabbit pull the Porsche over, Rabbit walks up to the car and leans on the door. When looking in the Porsche from Rabbit's point of view he has his right hand on the door but from the driver of the Porsche's point of view he has his left hand on the door.

Mistake Continuity: In the first shot of Ramathorne and Foster driving the stolen Winnebago from the Spurbury Police Station to the governor's speech, the shot is reversed. The big giveaway is that they are driving on the left side of the road. Also the road signs are facing the wrong direction and the door to the rear of the Winnebago is on the wrong side. The following shot of the Winnebago is the same footage as before, but this time it is correctly oriented.

Mistake Continuity: When Farva and Ramathorn are in Dimpus burger, after Farva finds the hole in his cup. Farva dives over the counter and tackles the kid who took his order. However, in a later scene, when the chief and Farva are looking at the video of the incident, it shows Farva sliding over the counter, landing on his feet, pushing another kid out of the way, and shoving a burger in the kids face that took his order.

Mistake Other: In the shot where Ramathorne is at the gun range, about to shoot Mac in the bullet proof cup, he is talking to Foster and Rabbit about how they are going to get in to the Spurbury Police Lockup. If you watch him draw his gun, he moves his other hand down to chamber a bullet, the sound effect is heard, but he never actually pulls the action back on the gun.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: During the first Winnebago scene, if you look closely under the Winnebago you can see the shadows of the crew members shaking it.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene where Rabbit, Thorny, and Foster are chasing Mac in the white Miata. Notice the cloud of dust when Mac skids to a stop in front of the bar, and then in the very next shot, there is no dust at all.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene at the baseball game, Mac is seen eating packs of fundip. In one shot he has five packs, in the next shot he only has three.

Mistake Continuity: In the opening scene with the three stoners, Ramathorne and Rabbit drive away after the license and registration bit, then reverse to pull up right behind the boys' car. As the cruiser is reversing, there is a red car going straight on the other side of the highway, about the same speed as the cruiser. But as the cruiser pulls up behind the stoners' car, the red car is nowhere to be seen.

Mistake Continuity: In the chase scene of the Miata, the inner lights on the light bar are alternating red/blue when the cruisers are seen from afar, but on the close ups of the cruisers the inner lights are not on.

Mistake Continuity: At the end of the movie when the troopers bust the party, watch the shot where Thorny and Rabbit rip of their St. Anky uniforms. It's obvious that the blonde haired kid got up against the wall, but in the next shot he isn't against it.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: Several times throughout the movie you can see lighting screens and lighting equipment in the reflection of the troopers sunglasses.

Mistake Continuity: When Farga writes "Car Ramrod" on the paper, the writing differs in the next shot.

Mistake Continuity: Around 30-35 minutes into the movie, there is a scene where the captain is seated on a desk and talking to his officers who are all in chairs in front of him. The camera cuts several times to the officers and in turn to the captain at which time you can see the minute hand on the clock in the background go back and forth between ten past five and twelve past five.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene where Rabbit is cleaning the cars he is listening to a tape which is burnt by Favra and this clearly upsets Rabbit but if you look at the tape you can see that the tape is fully rewound.

Mistake Continuity: When the stoners in the car are driving, we see a shot of a bridge in the road that they will drive over. However, right after that, when they would have driven over it, we can see a shot of what the car has already driven over, and there is no bridge.

Mistake Continuity: In the opening sequence with the three stoners, there are various shots both inside and outside of the car. When the shot is outside of the car looking in, you can see there is no rear view mirror, but when the camera is inside the car it is there.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: In an early scene of the film, several of the Troopers are chasing a speeding white Miata down the highway. At one point, the Miata takes an exit off the main road in an attempt to elude his pursers. In one shot, as the Miata whips around the corner, you can see a few orange cones and what appears to be a crew member who are blocking off traffic on the road in the upper right hand corner of the screen.

Mistake Continuity: In the Winnebago scene where they discover the dead body, the Spurberry PD Chief draws his gun when he hears a sound in the back. He draws his gun. But his gun is actually a Crossman BB gun.

Mistake Other: Just before Farva gets punched in the family jewels by Mac, Ursula walks into the scene early, realizes what she's done, doubles back and then walks into the scene on cue a couple of seconds later.

Mistake Continuity: When Thorny is talking to his wife, while the German couple is jumping in the bed, Thorny changes from holding the bananas up by his chest to down by his waist between the shots.

Mistake Continuity: Watch the children on the bench behind Ramathorn in the Baseball scene. Before Arlo goes to bat, There are six kids on the bench. When Arlo is being sent to the plate by Ramathorn, there are now 3 kids.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: In the pursuit scene between the Mac in the Miata and Ramathorn and Rabbit in the Squad car, both vehicles drive by the camera which is located on the shoulder of the highway. If you slow the DVD version down, you can see a cone positioned in front of the camera so the drivers knew when to steer clear.

Mistake Continuity: In the opening scene during the Miata car chase, right after the Miata veers off the road you can see the lead trooper's car loose its front driver side hubcap but in the following shots you can clearly see that the hubcap has reattached itself.

Mistake Continuity: During the scene where Rabbit and Thorny pull over the Porsche, the blonde girl's glasses keep switching between being on her head, in her hands, and disappeared altogether between shots.

Mistake Continuity: When Arlo (Thorny's Son) is riding along with Ramathorn and Rabbit, in the very beginning when he's saying "Come on dad, Dad." his lips aren't moving.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene where Ramathorn and Rabbit are running into the bar to catch Mac, there are two officers (presumably Ramathorn and Rabbit) are outside; but, when the shot changes to inside the bar, three officers come through the door.

Mistake Continuity: In the first Winnebago scene where Ramathorn, Rabbit, Officer Rando of the Spurberry Police, and the Chief of the Spurberry PD, are arguing, watch the position of Ramathorn and Officer Rando as the Chief approaches the back part of the trailer. Ramathorn is over the Chief's left shoulder before he opens the door. After he opnes the door, Ramathorn is behind his right shoulder.

Mistake Revealing: In the scene where unit 91 is calling in the Spurbury Police car, it is obvious the car's ignition is not turned on.

Mistake Continuity: When Rabbit pulls over the Porsche, he looks at the woman first. When the camera scans from the womans lap to her face, you see her head is farther back towards the seat then it is in the next shot when she's leaning forward.

Mistake Revealing: At 46 minutes into the movie, Foster is outside of the Spurbury police station flashing Ursula. Ursula comes outside with a shotgun and voice changer to surprise him. You hear the pump-action of the shotgun, her voice through the voice-changer, and see the barrel of the shotgun come onto the scene all within about a second. She couldn't possibly chamber the shotgun, hold the shotgun, and hold the voice changer all at the same time without having three hands.

Mistake Continuity: When Foster and Mac play the Meow game, watch the guy in his car. His head is almost always in different positions in each shot. In the external shot that shows Mac laughing, the man in the car turns to look at Mac, and in the next shot from the interior, it shows him looking at Foster.

Mistake Continuity: Ursula is standing with the field to her right, and the snack cart to her left. She his hit by a flying baseball coming from below and to the left of her that supposedly comes from the field.

Mistake Other: In the scene where the troopers are testing the bullet proof cup, the captain (actor Brian Cox) arrives and explains that he created this joke to test rookies. He takes the gun from one of the troopers and fires to show that the gun is loaded with blanks. But the gun is loaded with real bullet and blows out a window in one of the police cars. At the moment the shot sounds and the window breaks, Cox is pointing the gun well above the car. The angle that Cox is holding the gun would have caused the bullet to go at least 10 feet above the car; not even close to the broken window.

Mistake Factual error: When Farva is talking to the Rookie about country music awards, Farva lights a cassette tape on fire. The flame would not spread that quickly.

Mistake Other: In the scene where Thorny, Mac, and Foster put Rabbit in the locker with the shaving cream, the Captain comes in and shows them an article in the newspaper about the fight with the Spurbury cops at the Winnebago murder scene. The article, which is entitled "Highway Patrol Out of Control." has nothing to do with the fight (if you pause the movie, preferably on the DVD, read a little bit of the article. The article is about an art sculpture exhibition and has nothing to do with the fight.)
