Other mistake: When Sir Anthony Hopkins (playing Johnny McLeod) is awaiting the arrival of the suspected bomber O'Neill (played by Cyril Cusack), a funny mistake occurs. Cusack sees Hopkins, smiles and greets him with a cheerful "Hello, Tony!" instead of "Hello, Johnny!" Being a pro, Hopkins doesn't blink an eye!

Other mistake: Fallon and Charlie tackle one of the bombs each, and Charlie is supposed to be duplicating the steps that Fallon takes. However, the first screw that Charlie loosens on the cover plate isn't the same one that Fallon first loosens.

Character mistake: Juggernaut says to cut the blue wire to defuse the bomb. At the last moment, Fallon decides he's lying and so cuts the red wire and successfully defuses the bomb. But he failed to tell the other defusers this before he cut it! If he had guessed wrong and the bomb had exploded, the other defusers would have assumed he had cut the blue wire and so would also have cut the red wire and also exploded their bombs (or after the next bomb had gone off, they would have assumed the wire-color was random).

Plot hole: Just how exactly did the bomber get all of those drums on the ship unnoticed? Then, why didn't anyone question the appearance of the drums that are in very conspicuous locations?
