Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.
When Hondo first meets the woman and kid, he tells them that he is riding dispatch for General Crook. The movie takes place 1869/1870, and Crook was not promoted to General until late 1872. [Not true, according to Wikipedia Crook was first promoted to Brigadier General in 1862, at which time he was addressed as "General". For clarification, consider this, Patton was a 5 star General but never addressed as, "Five Star General, Sir" nor "Four Star General, Sir" nor is any rank of General referred to as anything but General.]
