When Jim and Judy are talking in the driveway, Jim's car radio is on. The D.J. announces that someone has phoned in a dedication, "a new version of a rhythm & blues classic." Does anyone know what song this is? (It sounds familiar but I just can't place it.) And is this symbolic of anything? Is it just a coincidence that someone named Buzz dedicated a song to a Jim, or is this something Buzz's friends did to send a message to Jim? I've wondered about this ever since I first saw this movie at the theater in the '50s. Many thanks in advance for anyone who can fill me in.Rebel Without a Cause (1955) - 1 question
The "questions" section is for any random questions that occurred to you while watching this film, or anything you didn't entirely understand, and which Google or the IMDb can't help with. Submit them as a question, and hopefully someone will answer (the bold comments in brackets) - check back regularly. If the answer is wrong, or missing information, please use the "clarify answer" option. Don't feel limited - want to know what music played in a certain scene? Whether this was the first film to use a certain effect? Here's the place to ask!
