Trivia

In the scene when they are having dinner, and Mrs Doubtfire is fishing the teeth out of the wine glass, she says: "Carpe dentem - seize the teeth" This was a parody of "carpe diem - seize the day" from "Dead poets society". (Yes it's a well known Latin phrase, but the Robin Williams reference is the important bit). See more...

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: When Mrs. Doubtfire is cooking in the kitchen and sets her fake boobs on fire and hits them with the pan lids to put them out you can see the camera crew in the reflection of one of the pan lids.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene where the social worker is at Mr. Hillard's house and his so-called "sister" (Mrs. Doubtfire) is trying to find a face in the kitchen, one moment the wig is all messed up from being caught on the door. In the next scene, where she is looking in the fridge to find the face, her wig is perfectly in place.

Mistake Factual error: In one scene, Mrs. Doubtfire pulls the symbol off of Stu's car. She shouldn't have been able to do that, since a cable connects the symbol to the inside of the car.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene at the pool, when Pierce Brosnan dives into the pool and comes out look at his hairline, and look at it again in the next shot after his hair stylist intervened.
