Corky Romano (2001) - 18 mistakes

Continuity: In one of the scenes when Corky and his brothers are in their dad's room, Peter (the fat brother) has on a blue shirt. The camera cuts to Corky or someone else, and his shirt has changed colors to green.

Continuity: The scene where Corky is taking the cocaine to the lab he runs into a dog, in one scene a bowl of water is in front of the dog, in another scene the bowl is further away.

Continuity: When Corky is trying to get his briefcase back from the other agent, two men come in and say they are going to China town and taking Corky with them, Corky walks up before they say it; the agent behind Corky disappears in one shot.

Continuity: In the scene where Corky first enters the Vet Clinic, and speaks to the "patients", the shot when he first speaks to the old man with the Bassett Hound, the dog is in the chair on the man's left, but in the next shot, the dog has moved to the right, and the man has shifted to the left side of the chair.

Continuity: When Corky is chasing the cat at the start of the movie, he opens (breaks?) his fly trying to get the snake out of his pants. In the next shot, he is squatting facing the camera looking at the cat (who is at the bottom of the shot). It is obvious his fly is done up again, even though no attempt has been made to do up the fly.

Continuity: When Corky returns to the room after his brothers threw him out to talk to their father, the advisor to the family is standing next to the bed with the father and then he disappears. After a few minutes, he returns again.

Continuity: When Corky is trying to infiltrate the skinheads one of them pulls a gun on him. From one angle he is holding the gun sideways, and from another he's holding it normally.

Continuity: When the girl agent points her gun at Corky, first it is in her right hand, and when the screen switches, it's in her left hand, but in the next shot, it's in her right hand.

Continuity: When Corky is dressed as the girl scout and is about to kiss the female agent/nurse, there is a side shot of them and they're leaning towards each other. Then there is a close-up of the female agent and she is puckering her lips. When it switches back to the side shot, she isn't puckering. This happens several times throughout the scene.

Factual error: When Corky is trying to get into his family's underground casino and is being worked by the wrestler girl and the "little person", his wallet falls out. The little guy picks it up and looks at his license. The next shot shows you the license is from Florida and this license number starts with an "L". That is incorrect because in Florida your license number always starts with the first letter of your last name. In Corky's case the letter "R".

Continuity: In the scenes where Corky and other FBI agents are in a meeting room Corky pours himself some water. He then scoots a glass of H20 over to the female agent. He makes a big scene by leaning across the table. Anyway, the glass of water is sitting next to the woman, the angle changes and its not there, the angle changes back and it is there again. Look closely.

Other: When Corky is leaving with Kate the female agent and waves goodbye to his brothers, they are wondering where he is going. Now since he was wearing a wire, wouldn't they already know?

Continuity: When Corky is riding outside of the car after he gets locked out. The steering wheel of the car changes in each shot.

Continuity: When Corky goes though the metal detector for the first time, it beeps because of the wire in his crotch. When he goes though the metal detector throughout the movie, it doesn't beep again.

Continuity: In the scene where Corky is at the vet and the woman with the cat asks Corky to kill her cat, Corky puts a cup of tea down on the table. In the next shot where you see the cup again it is moved.

Continuity: In the scene where Corky's hand is trapped in the window as the handcuffed criminal drives the car backwards, the stunt man's hand comes loose. This is most visible as the car comes out of an alley, two passersby dive out of the way and you can see the stuntman's hand come all the way out, then reach back in the window.

Continuity: When the "funky" gun Corky was hold went of, and the tank exploded, you see the dog flying. When Corky sees the dog, it is lying down, its head facing one way, then when he runs over to the dog, it is facing the other way. Then, after he gives it "air", it gets up, and it is facing the same way it was facing when Corky first saw it.

Continuity: When the cocaine was all over Corky's face, when he runs into the FBI director and he asks him to go to the 2nd graders, all the cocaine is off his face, clothes, and hair.
