The scene before Paul Giamatti welcomes Big Momma at his house, they are using the telescope to spy on her from the second floor, yet there is a door in front of them. On the 2nd floor? [IF YOU LOOK OUT THE WINDOW AND WHEN EVER THEY SHOW AN OUTSIDE SHOT OF THE HOSUE. YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THAT THE DOOR LEAD OUT INTO SOME TYPE OF TERRACE OR BALCONY. IT'S SMALL BUT IT'S THERE.]
In a couple of scenes with Sherry and Martin Lawrence as Malcom, The necklace that Sherry gave Big Momma is clearly visible hanging outside his shirt. Wouldn't Sherry notice it just hanging there? [Many men wear necklaces, including one with a cross; even if Sherry noticed at the distance she was standing from Malcolm, there would be no reason why she wouldn't just assume it was his.]
When Martin is hiding in Big Momma's shower, Momma turns the shower on, strips naked, puts a towel wrap on her body, then gets in the shower without removing the towel. [This should be considered a character mistake and not an actor's mistake.]
When Martin Lawrence is in bed with Mia Long, you can see Martin Lawrence's moustache. When Martin is awakened the next morning, his Big Momma makeup is on. [Hours have elapsed, more than enough time for him to get out of bed, put on the mask, and get back in bed.]
When the old Malcolm has his wig pulled off by Naylor, the other old women pull their wigs off but you can clearly see their hair underneath. [Depending on the reasons for wearing a wig for a certain length of time, a woman may either shave their head, or flatten their hair with a hair net so the wig will fit better and look nicer too.]
Who knows a handyman that goes to work at 5:45 in the morning? [This was very clearly acknowledged in the film].
