Visible crew/equipment: During the scene where the whole family is first driving into Beverly Hills, in the scene where they give the finger to say hello, the camera crew can be seen in the reflection of some of the cars.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Ellie Mae is swimming with her animals, and the tutor comes in to meet with her, a shot shows Ellie Mae with wet hair, and in the next shot, her hair is dry.

Continuity mistake: When the Clampetts are eating at the pool table, Tyler arrives and goes to kiss Elly May's hand. She flips him over and it appears that Tyler knocks a pool cue over on his way to the ground that was propped up against a wall unit. In the next shot, it is back in its place, and no one was seen to have picked it up.

Continuity mistake: In the scene when Jethrow Bodine is sharpening pencils, there is a large bundle of unsharpened pencils on his desk. Then the secretary comes in, and hands him a bundle of unsharpened pencils; the same bundle that was on his desk.

Revealing mistake: When they leave their home to go to Beverly Hills and Granny is tied to her rocking chair on the top of the car, right before she hits the tree and comes off the car, you can see she isn't a real person. It's a dummy. (00:09:06)

Continuity mistake: While Drysdale is giving orders in his office, Hathaway is behind him writing. After the angle change, she is pulling the pen out of her coat, and starts to write again.

Movie Nut

Revealing mistake: When Ms. Hathaway is sitting in her office explaining to Jethrow her computer program for finding his uncle Jed Clampet a wife, she begins typing, but In the shots of the computer screen you can see she isn't typing anything.

Elly May: I reckon why they got two sets of steps.
Jethro: That's easy! One's for going up, and the other's for going down.
Elly May: Oh.
