The Wizard of Oz (1939) - 112 minor mistakes

Continuity: When the Munchkins start coming out to see Dorothy, one Munchkin comes out of a manhole. But in other wide shots, and when Dorothy leaves to go to Oz, the manhole has totally disappeared. Submitted by Hamster
Continuity: After they put the green robe on the Cowardly Lion, the flowers in the three pots on the right are different that what we saw at the beginning of the scene. Submitted by ????
Continuity: During the storm the farm hands let the horses go and Dorothy runs to the back of the house as the wind blows directly in her face. If you look closely a large wood plank is sent sliding on the road, in the wrong direction into the wind. Submitted by ????
Continuity: As Zeke feeds the pigs we see his hankie sticking straight up out of his back pocket. He doesn't touch it but later before he pulls it out after rescuing Dorothy, it's hanging downward and much more is showing. Submitted by ????
Continuity: As she talks to the Scarecrow, Dorothy says to Toto, "Wasn't he pointing the other way?". In several of the close up shots wind is blowing her hair around and in others it isn't. Submitted by ????
Continuity: The yellow brick road is made out of painted bricks. As they enter Oz it changes into shiny linoleum with grey grout marks painted on it. Submitted by ????
Continuity: The mayor of the Munchkin city stands alone on the steps and proclaims, "Let the news be spread…" In the next shot Toto suddenly stands at his left. Submitted by ????
Continuity: Outside of Prof. Marvel's trailer the wind is blowing strongly on him, but if you look under and behind the trailer the trees are not moving. Submitted by ????
Continuity: When Glinda walks up the steps to greet Dorothy and the rest the floor can be seen and it's quite dirty. Later when Dorothy taps her heels together the same floor has been cleaned and shined. Submitted by ????
Continuity: The bows in Dorothy's hair are tied differently throughout the scene with Glinda the witch. Submitted by ????
