Mistake Continuity: When Bob and Dr. Marvin are interviewed by Good Morning America the book Bob is holding changes positions between shots. The changes of position are not possible from shot to shot.

Mistake Continuity: In the scene where Dr. Marvin tells Bob to "take a vacation from his problems", there are white sailboats on the lake in back of Bob but when the scene shifts back to Dr. Marvin, the boats are gone, then they once again, magically reappear.

Mistake Continuity: When Leo starts coughing, we see Anna start to get up and go to her right, meaning that she'll pass behind her mother's chair. It then cuts to Siggy for literally a fraction of a second, then to the mother. But Anna is never seen in frame behind her mother at any time.

Mistake Continuity: When Bob is in the coffee shop waiting on the call from Dr. Marvin he chases an older man away from the phone. The rope for the fish jar hanging around his neck is twisted around once or twice. The camera cuts away from him then back to him and then the rope is twisted around seven or eight times.

Mistake Continuity: Leo Marvin is at the window watching Bob 'leave' and he is holding the newspaper in his left hand. Then he waves and it is still in his left hand. When he walks towards his family it is in his right. He could have switched, but that is some pretty fast switching.

Mistake Revealing: When Dr. Marvin is choking on his food Bob gives him the Heimlich maneuver. He then puts Dr. Marvin on the couch and jumps down on him. Dr. Marvin expels the food just before Bob knees him the third time. This is best viewed in slow-motion. We are lead to believe that the third knee drop caused the food to be dislodged when actually the food is spit out just a split second prior to Bob landing the knee drop.

Mistake Factual error: When Leo is "choking," he's coughing and making a lot of yelling and groaning noises. Obviously this means that air is getting to and from his lungs. But the family freaks out, Bob does the Heimlich maneuver, and afterwards the family congratulates Bob for "saving" Leo. The doctor's surely well-educated family should have known that he wasn't in any real danger. (Not to say they wouldn't be concerned, but Bob seems to be doing more damage that what Leo is choking on.)
