Mistake Plot hole: During the end the murderer is thrown out the front window of the building. The students leave the building through the front door, but yet there is no body, and that doesn't seem to bother them!

Mistake Continuity: When Michelle thinks she is being attacked, she grabs the phone and throws it through the window, and it smashes out all of the glass. Yet as she climbs out, there is an amount of glass which has reappeared in the side ledge.

Mistake Continuity: During the scene with Parker, Natalie and Brenda talking in the coffee lounge, the bottles of water on the table in between them rotate on their own accord. Additional items move and appear as well as the scene goes on.

Mistake Continuity: At the end of the film, Paul went in the house when it was raining, but his coat is not wet.

Mistake Continuity: When the killer has hanged Damon in the tree and smashes the front window of the car, the girl in the car is backing, and when she does that the killer falls off the car, and then you can, if you listen carefully, hear a mans voice "say" something like "uff". The killer is a girl but the stuntman is a man.

Mistake Continuity: When Damon leaves the car to go into the woods to pee, Natalie soon becomes confronted by the lunatic. She opens the drivers seat door and the window is fully closed. In the next shot it is wide open and she rolls it up frantically.

Mistake Continuity: In the first shot of Tosh at the computer in the Goth chat room, she has black lipstick on. From then on her lips are clean; leaving it open for her to say that she 'is just going to get ready', to her chat room friend.

Mistake Continuity: When Natalie opens the door and Parker's body falls out, it is covered in foam from the way in which he was killed earlier on. Between shots the foam covering his differs. Also, the position of his right arm changes between these shots.

Mistake Continuity: In the climax of the movie, Brenda is shot out of the boarded up window. However the boards that are nailed across the window change. Firstly, there are only a few planks with many gaps. But from outside, the whole window is boarded, with NO gaps.

Mistake Continuity: When Michelle pulls up into the gas station, her windshield wipers are on. The wipers are just about to swing upwards. Cut to a close up and they are no longer in the process of swinging upwards but, are down.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: After Michelle climbs out of the window and runs across the gas station to her car, the camera follow her in an overhead shot. If you watch to the left of the screen you can see the large shadow of the camera crane that follows.

Mistake Continuity: When Sasha is on the air in her radio station talking to a caller who has phoned in, she sits down and removes the outer cover on her microphone. However in the next shot the cover is back on. It is then off again in the next shot.

Mistake Continuity: When Sasha is pushed over the banister by the killer, she grabs the corner of the stairs; as she hangs on, her hands change position. In one shot she has one hand either side of the corner. Then she has both hands on the right side, then back again.

Mistake Continuity: When Tosh is on the computer she is in a Gothic chat room. As she types her first message you can see it is for the entire room. But as the shot changes it is now for just one user. It happens too fast for it to be a technological intervention.

Mistake Audio problem: When Michelle is taken inside by the gas station attendant, she thinks he is going to attack her. As she tries the locked door and he grabs her, we hear herscreams but her mouth doesn't match up to them.

Mistake Revealing: When Natalie is in the old building and she is looking around, she opens the door and Parker's dead body falls out onto the floor. When it cuts to a close up of his body, you can clearly see the side of his neck pulsating although he is dead.

Mistake Continuity: At the frat party, the song Love Rollercoaster by Ohio Players is played, and one of the guys points out the scream, which is the scream of a woman being murdered. However the scream we hear in the film is not the same scream which is in the song.

Mistake Continuity: When Damon and Natalie are in the car, Damon begins to tell Natalie about his girlfriend who had a syndrome. He brings his hand up to his face; between shots the location of his hand on his face keeps changing.

Mistake Plot hole: When Natalie and Brenda are looking at old Stanley Hall and hear moaning, they back away. The culprit, Damon, is suddenly behind them. As the noise was coming from just inside the building, how did Damon magically appear behind the girls in the space of seconds? No one is that fast.

Mistake Plot hole: In one gruesome scene, the killer hangs Natalie's friend in the woods and then crashes a car into a tree. Natalie escapes and comes back with campus security (who didn't bother to call the police even though a murder had just been committed). When Natalie and the guard get to the murder scene, all evidence is gone. How did the killer manage to remove the body and all pieces of the car within ten minutes (not to mention somehow hide the dent left in the tree by the car crash)?
