Continuity: When Dustin Hoffman (dressed as Dorothy) goes to babysit for Jessica Lange he takes a bunch of flowers as a present. Jessica Lange takes them from him and throws them on the kitchen table. Then she walks into the kitchen (shot from different angle) still holding the flowers and throws them on the table (again).

Tootsie (1982) - 5 mistakes
These mistakes are currently being ordered by time. Entries without times will appear at the end.
Directed by Sydney Pollack, starring Bill Murray, Jessica Lange (add more)
Continuity: When Hoffman accompanies Teri Garr to the audition for the role he later gets, his hair is obviously shorter (ears showing, etc.) than in the rest of the film.
Continuity: In the scene just before Michael admits his infidelity to Sandy, he lays his wig down on the kitchen table. Later, the wig disappears from the table though neither Michael nor Jeff had removed it.
Continuity: During the conversation between Dustin Hoffman and Sidney Pollack in the beginning, Sidney points to the table with his left hand and says "I'm supposed to fill offers" but in the next angle, he points with his right hand.
Continuity: For the first few scenes of Tootsie, Dustin Hoffman looks like he had his eyebrows plucked. Maybe they filmed those scenes later.
