Question: Why does Harvey Keitel hold up his hand as he is chasing after Thelma and Louise at the end of the movie? I always felt he did it to keep the officers from shooting at them, but a friend of mine was saying he simply did it to try to get their attention so they wouldn't drive off the cliff.
