Continuity: In their love making scene Sharon Stone leaves Michael Douglas' back all dripping and bloodied with her sharp fingernails. In the next shot she rolls him over onto a pillow but when he gets up there's no blood on the pillowcase.

Continuity: As they discuss the murder of Jonny Boz Jeanne Tripplehorn introduces Dr. Lamott to the investigators and the book that is right in front of him moves sideways on the desk between shots.
Continuity: When Sharon Stone sits down for questioning at the police station, a black folder on Wayne Knight's desk moves next to the brown coffee cup between shots.
Continuity: At the beach house Sharon Stone is sitting in direct sunlight as she speaks to Michael Douglas about Jonny Boz yet in all the close-up shots, even when he walks between her and the sun, she's never in direct sunlight.
Continuity: On Jeanne Tripplehorn's desk, there's a large spherical polished rock that has been moved around between shots as Michael Douglas has his first interview with her.
Continuity: As Sharon Stone sits through questioning, the retractable light on the right of the camera is moved to the side toward the end of the scene without anyone going near it.
Continuity: In an overhead shot back at her house, Sharon Stone walks away from her pool towards her car which is in total shade. In the next shot as she gets in the car she's in sunlight.
Continuity: Jeanne Tripplehorn walks into her apartment and Michael Douglas is there asking questions about her and Sharon Stone in college. If you look closely the pillows on the couch on the left of the screen move from the time she opens the door to when she walks into the apartment.
Continuity: In his office, Michael Douglas looks up Hazel Dobkins' name on the police computer. Gus Moran comes in to speak to him and the pencils in the pencil holder move between shots without anyone going near them.
Continuity: At the end of the movie Michael Douglas goes back to his apartment to find Sharon Stone waiting for him and the chair and the items on the kitchen table move between shots without anyone going near them.
Continuity: As Michael Douglas chases Sharon Stone down the highway his car almost has a head-on collision with a speeding bus and if you look closely in the second shot that we see of the bus, it's not moving.
Continuity: At his apartment Michael Douglas takes his sunglasses off and puts them down on the counter where Sharon Stone later breaks up a big hunk of ice for their drinks. The glasses rotate 45 degrees throughout the scene without anyone going near them.
