Factual error: When researching Christian Wolf in the IRS database, they state he made $75,000 and ran ZZZ Accounting. They then look up 3 other businesses with over a million dollars in income, said they were all partnerships and stated that Christian Wolf was managing partner. Given that partnerships are flow through entities for income tax purposes, all that income would flow through to individual returns, resulting in much more than $75,000 in income on Christian Wolf's tax return.

Continuity mistake: When Ben Affleck first enters the meeting room, there are 2 workers cleaning up: one putting files in cardboard boxes and one other wiping the glass. When John Lithgow enters, he wants to talk to Affleck privately and excuses only one worker - the one wiping the glass. The first man has disappeared from the room. (00:45:45 - 00:46:25)

Continuity mistake: Whilst sitting having lunch, when the girl sits beside Ben Affleck, he removes the cup from his thermos, and sets it down to his right. A following shot shows the cup now on his left. (00:36:00)

Factual error: When Medina and the IRS Agent are searching through the database to check Paul's Laundromat's tax return, it's mentioned that Paul's Laundromat is a partnership, with Christian Wolff as a managing partner. However, the tax return shown on the screen is a Form Schedule C which is a form filed with a personal 1040 tax return. A partnership should be using Form 1065 with a schedule K1 to flow through to a form 1040. (01:18:17)

Continuity mistake: During the meeting in the conference room, shots of the reflection of Ben Affleck show he isn't wearing glasses and keeps moving his head, whereas in the shots of him directly he almost never moves his head and is always wearing glasses.

Young Chris' Father: Aggression, correctly channeled, overcomes a lot of flaws. Tapping into that aggression requires peeling back several layers of yourself.
