Continuity: Near the end of the movie, when Ed Leland is about to enter the Customs Office, the insignia on his hat is intact, but when he enters it has disappeared.

Factual error: In the scene where Nina is in the "secret room" in the basement of Franz Dietrich's mansion and is taking photos of secret documents with her spy camera, one of the documents she photographs details the location of the secret bomb-making factory at "Peenemuende". The location of Peenemuende on the map is marked as being in the midwest Ruhr region of Germany, whereas Peenemünde in reality is located at the north-eastern part of Germany on the North Sea.

Factual error: At approximately 27 minutes in, when they part company at the airport Douglas is wearing a Combat Infantryman Badge. The CIB was not created until Oct of '43, though the scene was taking place at the end of '41 - early '42.

Continuity: When Linda Voss and the children return home from the city (after the bombing) and are greeted outside by Franze-Otto Dietrich, Linda has her watch on her right wrist (as she is a lefty). As Dietrich and the children are heading into the house, you see a close up of Linda checking the time on her watch and it is on someone's left wrist. When she subsequently goes into the basement to look around, the watch is back on her right wrist again.

Factual error: When Linda Voss meets Ed Leland at a party of the US Army six months after the war began, they are dancing to the song "I'll be Seeing You". This beautiful song was recorded in Feb 17, 1944. It entered the charts two months later, where it stayed for 24 weeks, topping the charts for 4 weeks. They were dancing to a song 2 years before it was recorded.
