Continuity: After Delbert Grady spills the Advocaat on him Jack puts his drink down on a urinal in the restroom and the glass is two-thirds full. Before he was bumped into by Grady as he left the bar he only had one-third of a glass, and he even spills some of it when he's hit.

Continuity: Before Jack comes back from room 237, Wendy's ashtray is to the right of the lamp on her end table. Later as Jack storms out, the ashtray is in front of the lamp even though no one is smoking or has touched it.

Revealing: Jack locks the door to room 237 behind him as he runs away from the old woman. If you look closely as he slams the door, the picture on the left down the hallway almost falls off the wall due to the flimsy construction of the set.

Continuity: Jack sits down at The Gold Room bar, and his hair is slicked straight back. After he meets Lloyd the bartender, his hair is combed over to the left in several shots.

Visible crew/equipment: As both Jack and the old woman walk out of the bathroom, the shadow of the camera man can be seen on the door post.

Continuity: In Jack's first trip to The Gold Room, Lloyd the bartender grabs the Bourbon with his right hand firmly around the body of the bottle. In the next shot his right hand is around the neck of the bottle.

Continuity: Lloyd's bowtie changes between shots. When we first see him the right of his tie is bent out in front of his collar but then several shots later it's bent back touching the collar.

Continuity: The right side of the woman's hair in the bathroom of room 237 is combed differently between shots from when she gets out of the tub to when she and Jack embrace.

Continuity: Throughout the scene in room 237's bathroom, there is an upside down glass in the enclosure above the toilet paper dispenser to the left of the screen. It remains in the same place until the old woman follows Jack out of the bathroom, where it moves several inches to the left without anyone going near it.

Visible crew/equipment: As Jack first walks into the Overlook Hotel for his interview with Mr. Ullman, we see the reflection of studio equipment moving in the doors to The Gold Room behind him.

Continuity: When Jack sits down in The Gold Room, he's right in the middle of the bar. Neither one of them moves, but after he meets with Lloyd the bartender he's sitting about two feet to his right and is no longer at the center of the bar.

Audio problem: When Jack goes into The Gold Room and we meet Lloyd the bartender for the first time, he turns four light switches on but they only over-dub the sound of him flipping three switches.

Continuity: At home in Florida, Dick Hallorannn watches TV in bed and in the first close-up of his face, we see the reflection of the lamp to his right on the head board. They cut away to the television set for one shot then come back for another close-up and the lamp has obviously been moved, as there is now no reflection of it on the head board.

Continuity: At home in Florida, Dick Hallorannn watches TV and his head is propped up on two pillows behind him, resting against the headboard. In the next shot, the pillows are above the back of his head.

Continuity: Jack looks into the bathroom of room 237 and sees the woman behind the shower curtain. They cut to a shot of his face and then back again and we see that the pleats of the shower curtain are rearranged before the woman ever touches them.

Continuity: Only one day has passed but Jack's beard is shorter as Wendy runs into The Colorado Lounge, while he's having his nightmare, than it was in the previous scene as he talks to Danny on the edge of the bed.

Continuity: As Jack kisses the woman in room 237 his left hand is outstretched as he reaches around her shoulder. In the next shot his hand is in a different position with his thumb and first finger touching each other.

Continuity: As Dick Hallorann watches TV in bed at home in Florida, there's a shot of his feet propped up on a pillow that is right at the edge of the bed. In the next shot the pillow is a foot away from the edge of the bed.

Continuity: After his nightmare, Jack says to Wendy, "I dreamed that I killed you and Danny" and the watch on her left hand is obscured by her sleeve. In the next shot her sleeve is pulled up on her forearm and the watch can be seen.

Continuity: As Wendy and Danny speak to each other at the kitchen table look closely at the tablecloth underneath. His plate moves to the right and is rotated when with both hands in the air Tony says, "I just don't".
