Krampus

Question: How does the movie really end? Are the family trapped in a snow globe for all eternity, or were they given a second chance and Krampus is just watching them?

Answer: The ending is that they are all alive and Krampus gave them a second chance. Evidence of this comes from the director's commentary and the comic book prequel "Krampus: Shadow of Saint Nicholas".

Question: The delivery man was later found by Beth frozen in fear. Why did he deserve to die?

Answer: The beginning of the movie established that Christmas spirit was lacking in the masses...so perhaps the delivery man was also too cynical to escape the wrath of the Krampus.

Question: Why was CGI used when Omi told her family about her first seeing Krampus when she was young. Why not use real actors and actresses?

Answer: It's just a filmmaking style decision and also likely a financial decision. They wanted to show the backstory without having to find locations, build sets, hire actors, and all the other expenses that would have come with it.

Question: What happened to Beth's boyfriend? Was he too on Krampus' naughty list?

Answer: Since it's never shown, it's only speculation that if he lost his Christmas spirit, he was killed. If not, he's alive.

Question: What's the deal with Howie, Jr.?

Answer: He's just an odd little boy.

Question: Omi never lost her Christmas spirit, so why did the toys in Krampus' bag attack her?

Answer: Krampus was specifically conjured by Max losing his spirit. Krampus came to claim his family - including Omi - to essentially punish him for it. It doesn't matter if Omi never lost her spirit in the present... that's not why Krampus came.
