Mistake Continuity: In the opening scene when the priest is playing the piano, in close shots of him you can see the back of the musical sheets sitting on the piano, and they are just pages of musical notes. Yet between two shots a book which says "Eckstein" appears. Then in the next close shot the "Eckstein" booklet isn't there and just musical sheets are visible.

Mistake Continuity: When Father McFeely arrives at Hell House, Megan's Mother opens the door, and he walks forward and raises his hand to his hat. Then in the next behind shot his hand is down but in the next shot his hand is on his hat again, and he then takes his hat off.

Mistake Continuity: When Father McFeely arrives at the Hell House in the cab, the cab parks right next to a light pole. Between shots the position of the cab in front on the light pole noticeably moves.

Mistake Continuity: When Father McFeely reads from his bible while on the toilet, in shots of him, a table with three books on it can be seen. Between shots the books on the table change their position.

Mistake Continuity: When Father Harris' lips are stuck to the crucifix he is trying to pull it loose with his right hand. When it cuts he is pulling it with his left hand.

Mistake Continuity: When Megan is in bed (not the vomit scene), her hands are tied. But when Father Harris begins to pray "Holy Lord. Almighty Father", it's quite obvious that Megan's hands are untied. When it cuts her hands are tied again. Her hand is also suddenly untied when she says "Your mother sucks # in Hell".

Mistake Continuity: After the vomit scene it cuts to Megan's mom looking up the stairs. She lifts her left arm up to her mouth, but when it cuts it's her right arm that's up.

Mistake Deliberate "mistake": When Shorty is showing Cindy some moves and they are doing the "Right, left, right, left" move, you can see three people walking right behind them. Then, suddenly, the people are gone without the scene being cut. The director has simply just overlapped the scenes while they are doing the moves.

Mistake Revealing: When the couple split the pole, they get hit by a bus. As the shot cuts to a wide shot, and if you pause in the right place, you can see the couple have been replaced by dummies, just before the bus hits them. [This isn't a "mistake" -- this is just dissecting a movie, frame by frame, until you can spot the special effects.]

Mistake Continuity: When Buddy runs up to Cindy in the school passageway with the book, you can see that it is a "windows for dummies" book (or something similar), when he hands the book to Cindy, it suddenly changes to the Harry Potter cover.

Mistake Continuity: During the scene where Cindy is talking to Buddy in the college hallway, her backpack straps alternate between shots. In some shots she has both straps up, and in others one strap is up and one strap is down.

Mistake Revealing: When Cindy drives down the road, singing along with the radio, depending on the shot, the roadside differs. In closeups of Cindy in the car, she drives past trees/bushes, yet in wideshots there are no trees or bushes by the roadside.

Mistake Continuity: When Cindy is driving along, singing along to a song in her car, in wide shots of the car, you can see the road she drives down has a white fence running along both sides of the road. But in shots of Cindy in her car, a white fence should be visible, but isn't there.

Mistake Continuity: When Cindy is driving along, singing, both of her windows are rolled down about halfway. We can see the window next to Cindy is rolled down halfway in the first two closeups of Cindy. It then cuts to a wideshot of the car and then another closeup, and the window is now fully winded down. Cindy clearly never winds the window down, it has just rolled down between shots.

Mistake Continuity: In the beginning of the movie Cindy drives towards the castle and sings along with the radio. She passes (and almost hits) a car. If you look through the back window, the car never comes by.

Mistake Continuity: Cindy is driving to Kane Manor, and she's singing along to a song. Then the song tells Cindy to shut up. After this Cindy goes from holding the sides of her steering wheel, then the top of the wheel, then back to holding the sides between shots.

Mistake Continuity: For the entire movie, the main female character has a French manicure with long nails.   But when they are spoofing "What Lies Beneath" and she lays her professor down on the table, she has short natural nails.

Mistake Revealing: At the beginning, when the girl is driving down the road, there are leaves on the ground, but the leaves in the trees look green. Passing one of the bushes on the road, the leaves are blowing from directly behind the bushes, where a fan must be hiding.

Mistake Continuity: When Cindy first meets Hanson, the big knife Hanson holds changes angles in his hand between shots.

Mistake Revealing: In the shot where Cindy drops her bag of clothes, toothbrushes, etc. You can see that the clothes and things fall from above when they should've just fallen from the bag.
