Taken 3

Question: Just to clarify Stu's plan. He wanted Lenore dead to take the life insurance policy which he was gonna pay Malenkov with? And would frame Brian to put him in jail?

Answer: Stuart told Bryan that he owed a large debt to his former business partner and ex-Spetsnaz operative, Oleg Malankov. To pay him off, Stuart had Lenore murdered for the insurance money. He framed Bryan and revealed his identity to Malankov because he was jealous that Lenore still loved Bryan.

Answer: Stuart was planning on using Kim as a leverage over Brian and the authorities, presumably as a hostage.

Answer: I saw it as they needed Bryan out of the house to stage Lenore's body. Lenore had already been kidnapped the previous day and now they needed to plant her body in his home.

Question: In a movie where a person is waterboarded, is the actor literally waterboarded? Or is there a type of trick or method that directors use?

Answer: Some water might have been used, but actually waterboarding an actor would be a safety hazard. Most likely some special effects are involved.

Question: When Malankov is lying at the stairs and Bryan aims a gun at him, Bryan said "You killed my ex-wife. But you're not gonna kill my daughter." and then Malankov said "Your daughter?" then he muttered something. What exactly did he say?

Bunch Son

Answer: He says "S***! We are f***** by the same man."

Bishop73

I'm asking about what he exactly said before saying "We are f*** by the same man." And he definitely didn't say "S-h-i-t"

Bunch Son

He was using the Russian "сука."

I know he used a Russian word, but he definitely didn't sound like he said "sсука." Somebody please tell me the exact Russian word he said.

Answer: When the police were in the house, looking through all of Lenore's things, one had Kim's cardigan which she took off him and said, "That's not even hers." If you observe carefully, just before she says that, you see him planting the bug in the collar.

Answer: It's not specifically shown when, but in the immediate aftermath of Lenore's murder, as the police suspected Bryan, they would be talking to Kim multiple times. While questioning her, they planted the mic, assuming she would be in contact with her father.

Factual error: The police release Bryan once it is proved he didn't kill his wife. However, they ignore the multiple murders committed by Bryan (for example, he killed bodyguards that were just doing their job), easily injured - if not not killed - many innocent bystanders in a variety of action man moments (freeway pileup, parking garage explosion, etc) and resisting arrest twice.
