Mistake Revealing: When RoboCop is covered in flames at the start he walks through a window. Watch carefully, it actually shatters before he walks into it.

Mistake Revealing: When RoboCop storms out of the underground base to the police station, we cut to a scene in the police department. If you watch really closely, nobody actually moves in this scene for about three quarters of a second after the scene starts. People to look out for include the police officer on the far right standing beside a woman in a orange top, (only really noticible in the widescreen version), and the people behind their desks in the background. They are all still or posing, which is amusing to see before they all suddenly come to life.

Mistake Plot hole: Robocop shoots the gun out of the rehab's hand in the motel whilst looking for McDaggett. Seeing as he's not far from McDaggett's room, surely McDaggett would have heard the gunshots and would have gone to investigate, rather then just sit on the bed and chat.

Mistake Continuity: When RoboCop goes back to the underground base, there is a wide shot of him looking around him, and there is nothing on the floor. RoboCop takes 4 steps infront of him and we are then shown a map right at his feet. It wasn't there a second ago.

Mistake Continuity: RoboCop bends down to pick up the map at his feet, and he does so by scooping his hand underneath it and lifting it with his thumb and index finger, as it is lying flat on the ground. Yet when the camera angle changes to show RoboCop correcting his posture, the map is now rolled up and he is holding it in his hand, which is now in a fist position.

Mistake Revealing: When RoboCop has his forearm cut off, you can see Robert Burke's arm covered in black material poking out from beind his back. The arm appears again a few times during this scene.

Mistake Continuity: Niko would easily have been burned by RoboCop's flight pack when she was hanging off it at the end. It isn't that big and Niko's legs would easily have gone down and past the flame holes.

Mistake Plot hole: It seems strange that RoboCop carries Marie out of the building in his arms, and lets Niko, a little girl, hang onto the back of him. When he is flying, it would have took an awful amount of strength to hang onto him, when he is travelling so fast and high in the air.

Mistake Continuity: When the two Ninja robots fight, the robot on the left loses his head before the blade strikes.

Mistake Other: Near the end, just before the OCP building explodes, when Robocop flies carrying both girls to get out of the office you can see the wires that make this possible.

Mistake Continuity: When Robo gets his arm chopped off by Otomo, he stands up and in Robovision, you see that he needs power, but you cannot see Otomo who is supposedly right in front of him.

Mistake Factual error: When Robocop flies through the window of the top floor of the OCP building, the Rehab leader's hair blows around. Being that high up, that is absolutely correct. But after the ninjas appear, there is no longer any wind and no one's hair moves. "Robocop 2" tells us that the OCP skyscraper is sixty stories high. There would be a constant "breeze" with the window busted open.

Mistake Plot hole: At the end of the film, the Rehabs recruit gang members and give them all kinds of guns from shotguns, handguns, and automatic weapons. The cops and deputized citizens have similiar weapons. But for all the shooting, not one gang member is hit and only one citizen appears to be shot (aside from the three blown off the building roof by the Rehab tank.) I don't think anyone has any bullets.

Mistake Other: When Robocop is being repaired by the homeless guys, you can see clearly his stomach going up and down as he breathes. If he's mechanical he shouldn't be breathing, and even if they kept that bit of his innards, he's covered in a titanium shell so we shouldn't be able to see anything moving anyway.

Mistake Continuity: When RoboCop chases the van in the pimp's car, there is a view of the car driving without a roof, yet the roof is only blasted off in the next shot, after which we see the now roof-less car again.

Mistake Continuity: When RoboCop is shot outside the church, he falls backwards against a door. As he then falls to the ground following this, watch his feet. You can see Robert John Burke's feet underneath the metal suit.

Mistake Plot hole: When the elevator door sticks, he pushes the thick metal doors outward as though they were made of tinfoil. But when he reaches the room, he shoots out a silhouette in a flimsy wooden door to get in. How stupid. Total waste of ammunition and spoils the surprise factor.

Mistake Visible crew/equipment: During the first fight with Robocop, the Ninja makes some jumps, in one of these you can see how the floor is an elastic surface.

Mistake Continuity: At the start of the film, when we first see Bertha she is being pushed around by a rehab, and she eventually falls to the ground. She then places a small bomb on a crane she lands beside, and the bomb is pointing to the left. When she gets up and moves away, we go back to the bomb at it is now pointing to the right. Whats also interesting to note is the fact that the rehab doesn't notice Bertha take the bomb out or place it on the crane. Surely if you're standing right behind someone who is on the ground, and you are watching their every move, surely them taking an electronic device out and placing it on an object almost infront of them would draw your attention?

Mistake Revealing: When RoboCop gets his hand cut off by Otomo, he stands up and looks around him. We are given a normal shot of the base, but the screen moves in time with RoboCop's head movements. Surely this shot should have been the 'lined' picture that RoboCop has for his POV shots, and not the normal camera view we were given.
