Continuity: When Josh and Beth are making the sex tape in his room with his camera, his legs (and some other minor parts of his body) are in an entirely different position from what is seen later on the sex tape whenever someone watches it in the movie.

Factual error: The first time it shows Josh calling Tiffany he only pushes seven numbers. A call from N.Y. to TX would require 1-(area code)- then seven numbers = 11 digits.

Visible crew/equipment: When the snake attacks Jacob on the neck the camera zooms in and goes down with him.To the left you can see the camera's shadow very briefly.It's definitely the camera because Beth an Barry are over the room.

Continuity: When the guys are walking away from the car and it explodes, from one angle Sean William Scott has his hand up under his chin, but from the reverse angle it's down at his side.

Continuity: During one of the driving scenes along a motorway, they are driving up the right hand side of the motorway. On the other side, traffic is coming towards the camera (as it should) but there is a broken down vehicle that for some reason is facing the wrong way, as if someone reversed down the motorway and broke down.

Continuity: In the first scene of the movie where you see a bird view of the city you can see the filming helicopter on the bottom right corner of the screen.

Continuity: When the guys arrive at the University of Austin, Kyle has a cigarette behind his right ear as they get out of the minibus and as they start their walk. The cigarette has disappeared in the next shot (when Kyle trips over himself).

Continuity: At the beginning, when Josh and Beth are making the tape, Beth starts walking towards him, and you see her back. As she is walking, you see her pull up her panties. But, when the camera goes to the front of her, her hands are at her sides.

Factual error: In the scene where the guys are in the cafe, the waiter pours coffee, then puts his hand underneath the hot coffee pot. You cannot do that with a true glass coffee pot if your coffee is hot.

Continuity: The diner they have breakfast at is the Gwinnett Diner (located Northeast of Atlanta), this can clearly be seen on all the coffee mugs in the kitchen. Many of the signs along the highways were either blurred or digitally altered to go along with the story.

Continuity: In the scene where the car blows up after jumping the bridge they walk away from the car and are lined up just before it explodes and after it explodes E.L. turns slightly then realises that he's not supposed to yet he quickly turns back. This is before they all turn around in unison.

Continuity: In the scene where the "fat" girl is sitting on the swing flirting with the geeky guy, she smiles and has perfect, straight teeth, in no need of braces. Later, in the scene where the geeky guy is introducing the fat girl to his dad at the door, the fat girl smiles and has braces on.

Factual error: First, there is no Ithaca University in Ithaca, New York. The two main universities are Ithaca College and Cornell University. Second, Ithaca, New York doesn't look like that.

Continuity: There is a snake in a glass cage in the dormitory room. Several times in the same scene the snake completely changes positions in the cage.

Factual error: Why is it that when Kyle and the Fat girl are on the swing, her side is down about 1 and a half feet from him. It's supposed to be funny because she's fat. But it's not becuase metal chains are holding the bench.. you cannot bend metal that thin that far without breaking it.
