Continuity mistake: In the movie's final moments when Tom Cruise is buying back all his household items, the lady in the cargo bay says "that's everything," except for the crystal egg she throws out into the yard for Tom to catch. You can clearly see many more items left in the truck. But when the truck pulls away seconds later, nothing is left in the cargo bay except our villain sitting on a chair. Where did everything else go?
Miles: Sometimes you gotta say "What the Fuck", make your move. Joel, every now and then, saying "What the Fuck", brings freedom. Freedom brings opportunity, opportunity makes your future. So your parents are going out of town. You got the place all to yourself.
Joel Goodson: Yeah.
Miles: What the fuck.
Question: Did Lana actually like Joel or not? She said that the night on the train was not simply a diversion while Guido and Vicki raided his house. Answer: Lana liked him, but was not in love with him. The whole Guido house raid was his way of getting what's owed to him, when Joel stole all his business. At the end of the movie, Lana and Joel walked and talked about him going away to college, with no expectations about one another continuing their relationship.
