Continuity mistake: When we see Minnie Mouse in the box at the launching ceremony, you can see that there is nothing on the boat where she is standing, but when Mickey Mouse says "Let her go", we cut to Minnie and a bottle of champagne has appeared.

Continuity mistake: The crate that contains the figurehead which Goofy opens has two labels on the side, "Figure Head" and "Handle with Care." But when Goofy kisses the figurehead later on, look at the crate and you can see the writing on the labels has disappeared.

Continuity mistake: When Donald Duck is painting the boat's rudder, you can see that the seat is sitting on is tied to the back of the boat. But when we see Mickey Mouse fixing the boat's wheel, the seat is now tied to the railings.

Continuity mistake: When Goofy puts down his hammer after hammering in a nail, he puts down the hammer on a post and you can see it is right beside him, but in the next shot the post and hammer are now beside the boat.

Continuity mistake: When Mickey Mouse falls onto the front door of the boat kit, he initially falls onto the rope of the boat, but when we see him in the next shot, he is now sitting beside the rope.

Continuity mistake: At the start of the cartoon, Mickey Mouse is using a metal bar to open the contents of the boat kit. You can see that there are only two boards in front of Mickey, but when we see him in the next shot, there is now a board on the left and right hand side of him.

Continuity mistake: Goofy is seen hammering a nail into the starboard side of the ship. But when he takes his hand away, there are two nails, not one.

Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the short, Mickey Mouse installs the ship's mast. But when we see the boat when it is completed, there is no mast.
