Draft Day

Continuity mistake: The owner of the Cleveland Browns drives from NYC to the Teterboro Airport (12 miles from Midtown Manhattan), flies to Cleveland (450 air miles) and drives to the Browns facility (16 miles) in the time it takes the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th picks in the 1st round of the NFL draft to be made.

Continuity mistake: The head of security told Sonny Weaver a story about Bo Callahan, stating he talked to Washington who had the #5 pick. But later in the movie, in a pretty important plot twist, it was Denver who had the #5 pick.

Continuity mistake: When the owner, Anthony Molina, is going to present Bo Callahan the #1 jersey at the Browns' #1 selection, the jersey is not the color of the Cleveland Browns. It is blue. I don't recollect the Browns ever wearing a blue jersey.

Continuity mistake: In the first green room scene, immediately after Ray Lewis and Anthony Molina are talking about Lewis' draft, we can see a TV screen covering the draft. It says "Pick is in" at the bottom, even though the draft has not yet started. (01:11:15)

Continuity mistake: When Bo's agent gets the call from Sonny at the draft, his profile picture on the agent's phone is Cleveland Browns. However, when the agent hands the phone to Beau it is a generic contact with no photo attached to Sonny.

Continuity mistake: When they show Bo Callahan throwing the Touchdown pass there was a halfback in the backfield #30. However, when Sonny asks them to replay it and asks what was different (no Vontae Mack) it is pointed out that there was no halfback the backfield, #30 disappeared. Then Sonny asks where Donta was. He had been ejected.

Continuity mistake: The movie depicts one day, Draft Day in the NFL, and begins in the morning with GM Sonny Weaver, Jr. at home getting dressed for the day, and scenes follow Sonny as the day unfolds. Most scenes in the movie show a ticketing clock counting down to the actual draft picks which take place in the evening later that same day. In order of when they appear in the movie: first there's a water park scene with the clock showing 11:09, then two scenes later, it shows 9:39, then in a following scene it's 10:19. It doesn't appear that the water park scene is a flashback where Sonny is thinking about what happened at the water park. Clearly the water park scene is out of order of occurrence and/or the water park scene clock is wrong.
