Factual error: In the Brighton street scenes the parading air cadets are wearing service issue pullovers. These were not introduced as part of the uniform until the mid seventies. During the sixties air cadets would have been wearing battledress tunics.

Jimmy doesn't end up with Steph because she's now dating his friend. When they're fighting about their relationship, Jimmy gets mad and rides his scooter, which ends up being torn apart. He falls off and gets run over by a truck. Disappointed, he goes to Brighton and sees Ace working as a bell boy. Jimmy takes his Vespa scooter and drives it off a cliff. It does not show whether he dies or not because when the scooter is going down, he's not there.
