When Vincent shoots Marvin the bullet goes through Marvin's head and exits out the back of his skull with explosive force - enough to splatter "pieces of brain" all over the back of the car. The rear window of the car should have shattered from the bullet, it doesn't even get chipped. [Not if the bullet exited low enough. It could easily have gone through the parcel shelf or into the rear seat.]

Jules Winnfield: Go on.

Jules Winnfield: DOES HE LOOK LIKE A BITCH?
Brett: No.
Jules Winnfield: Then why you try to fuck him like a bitch, Brett?
Brett: I didn't.
Jules Winnfield: Yes you did. Yes you did, Brett. You tried to fuck him. And Marcellus Wallace don't like to be fuuced by anybody, except Mrs. Wallace.
Mistakes
At the beginning, when Brett is initially shot by both Jules and Vincent after Jules' Ezekiel speech, we see Jules' gun becomes empty on firing the last shot. However, on returning to the same scene at the end, when Jules and Vincent shoot Brett the gun does not empty; in fact Jules is able to repeatedly shoot the guy who comes out of the bathroom afterwards and the gun still isn't empty. Trivia
Butch smokes "Red Apple" cigarettes. The same brand is smoked by Tim Roth's character in Four Rooms (1995). Red Apple cigarettes appear in all of Tarantino's films. See more...

Comments made in brackets are corrections from other visitors. As such, any aggressive/abusive corrections (and I get quite a few) written as if they're comments I've made myself will be ignored. To submit your own corrections for mistakes, just click the edit icon under an entry, then choose "correct entry". Some entries have "duplicated entry" after them - these are entries which were already listed on the main page, but were submitted again. I occasionally leave these online for a while, just in case they were moved in error, so don't worry about pointing them out to me.

Lance is sitting at home eating cereal and watching the end of a Three Stooges short, "Brideless Groom," on television. During the subsequent phone conversation between Lance and Vincent, we can hear the short's soundtrack continuing in the background. The soundtrack then abruptly changes to an earlier scene in the short (Christine McIntyre slapping Shemp around) and then to a different short altogether ("Sing a Song of Six Pants," with Harold Brauer talking about a safe combination). ["Brideless Groom, Sing a Song of Six Pants, and Disorder in the Court" are all 3 featured on the same single copy of a DVD release of The Three Stooges (I own it). Trudy, the one WITHOUT all the "stuff" in her face, is still seen in the same room watching the TV also. She very easily could have changed scenes with a single click of a remote, as the camera is not focused on her during the shots of Lance on the phone with Vince.]
When Jackson and Travolta are at the apartment to collect the money from Brett, Jackson comments, "Look at the big brain on Brad," which should have been Brett. [He says Brett; he just emphasizes the word Brett so it sounds a little like Brad. (Even if he did say Brad it would still only be a character mistake, not a movie mistake.).]
Marcellus Wallace is bound and gagged while being sodomized by Zed. Butch makes the save by killing Maynard and holding the sword to Zed. Marcellus then shoots Zed with a shotgun. However it is never revealed how Marcellus becomes untied. His bonds had to have been good and tight in order for Zed to have his way with him. [Marcellus was tied up when he sitting down but you cannot actually see his hands until he pumps the shotgun. They would have had to untie him to position him, and the fact there was two against one (and that they had a shotgun and a pistol) would mean there was a good chance they didn't bother tying his hands up again.]
After the whole pawn shop incident, Butch returns to his motel on Zed's chopper. As he parks the chopper, look closely at the window in the background on the right of the screen (widescreen only). You'll see the reflection of someone standing up and walking away. [Yes the guy is quite easily seen, but he doesn't look obviously like a crew member, and can be someone living in the motel.]
When Vincent and Mia get back from the restaurant, she rewinds the tape deck to play music. There is a closeup of her finger pressing the play button, then she presses play again. [She first presses the play with her right finger to stop the tape from rewinding. Then she does a little dance move, presses the play button again with her left finger to start the tape.]
In the pawn shop, when Butch comes down to the rescue, he slashes the first man, steps in front of him, then stabs him. Zed steps forward and the sword swings up to Zed's face. In the next shot of Butch, it shows him bringing the sword up again. [Watch this scene twice and it shows the sword next to his face in both shots.]
When Vincent and Mia are in Jack Rabbit Slim's, he hands her a rolled cigarette and lights it for her. After a few seconds, we see him rolling another for himself. In less than five seconds, he is smoking it without having lit it. [This is only part of the original scene, the part when he lights the cigarette is in the deleted scene on the Collector's Edition DVD. Nonetheless, in the "five seconds" he very well could have lit it off screen.]
When Butch stabs that fat guy in the pawn shop, Zed stands up real fast and starts to go for his gun. When Marcellus shoots him, we see him grabbing his crotch, and can see that his pants are not even unzipped. How could he have time to zip his pants up? [Zed's pants are unzipped when he's laying on the ground. It's just difficult to notice since he's covering them with his hands.]
The sign advertising Butch's fight reads, "Coolidge vs. Wilson" and, beneath, "Clash of the Titans". Coolidge and Wilson were formerly opposing candidates in the U.S. presidential race and the slogan was applied to their contest. [ Wilson and Coolidge never ran against each other and no presidential election was ever known as the "Clash of the Titans".]
When Bruce Willis shoots John Travolta John falls back and lands in the bathroom and the door closes. When Bruce goes to open the door we see him put his hand on the blood spot and start pushing the door open, but when we see the door opening from the inside his hand is much lower on the door and below the blood spot. [The shot that shows him when the door opens, his hand is at the same height as the shot before. In the second shot however his hand moves quickly away from the door, giving the impression that it was lower than in the shot before.]
If you pause when you see Marvin dead in the trunk, you can see what looks like a bullet hole in his neck, not anywhere on his face, but, right after it happened, Vincent said he shot Marvin in the face. [He is just saying that. A guy just died in the back of their car and they are carrying illegal weapons, they wouldn't be too accurate about it.]
When Mia Wallace has discovered Vincent Vega's heroine and thinks that it is cocaine, she makes a line, then snorts it. She realizes that it is not what she thinks it is and starts to moan and rub her nose. You can tell that Mia is trying to break the blood packet in her nose because at one point she sticks her finger up her nose and pushes hard on something and it takes a couple of seconds of her rubbing her nose to produce any blood. [In the shot where she's rubbing her nose, we never see any blood. The blood doesn't appear until after a cut to a close-up shot. She could simply be rubbing her nose and sticking her fingers in there because the heroin has made her nose itch or burn.]
In the very first scene with hunny-bunny and pumpkin when they decide to rob the restaurant, hunny-bunny says "Any of you f**king pricks move and I'll execute every motherf**king last one of you." However, at the end of the movie with Vincent and Jules, when the scene is repeated she says "Any of you f**king pricks move and I'll execute every one of you motherf**kers." Also in the second scene it takes a few seconds longer for her to take out a gun out of her purse. [As someone said when correcting this exact mistake earlier, the reason for that is deliberate, because the scenes are from two different perspectives, and someone can remember the way it happened differently.]
Scene when Esmerelda is driving Butch in the Cab: Butch asks for one of her cigarettes, and she complies giving him a smoke and a light with a match. When she lights his cig with the match the flame on the match is still burning. But, when the camera shot changes, to a close-up of Esmerelda lighting the cigarette, Esmerelda's match has gone out, without her shaking the match out, or anyone blowing the match out. How did the match go out? [Butch exhales the smoke from his first drag and blows the match out. This is clearer in the uncut version of the scene included in the DVD extras.]
Whilst travelling in a car with Samuel, John accidentally shoots the man in the back seat. He and Samuel carry on talking. You just can't fire a high calibre gun in an enclosed space and not have a hearing problem. [Who says they don't have a hearing problem? Their ears may be ringing, but they wouldn't be stone deaf. Anyway, they don't "carry on talking" - they carry on yelling.]
In the scene where Bruce Willis shoots John Travolta, we can see the impact of bullets that hit Travolta on his body between his waist and neck. However, in the next shot when Travolta is in the bathtub, he is only bleeding from around his belly button and the impacts around his chest are gone. [Travolta gets one or two bullets next to his chest. In the bathtub you can see a few blood stains above his belly next to the left of his tie. The jacket he is wearing makes it harder to see if any of the bullets that shot him on the sides of his chest.]
