Mistake Continuity: In the church scene when Simon takes Hawthorne's soul, the flag draped over the casket changes from shot to shot.

Mistake Revealing: After Lucifer kills Gabriel, we get close-ups of Lucifer where the outline of his contact lenses are visible.

Mistake Plot hole: In one scene Eric Stoltz throws an angel out a window. This angel then lands on the roof of a parked car, bounces off as another car runs into him, smashing him against a stainless wall. Now, this is a blind street, a dead end, so why would anyone race like this?

Mistake Continuity: In the scene after Simon has been beaten by Gabriel and they are talking, Simon's hair is different every time it shows him - sometimes in his face, sometimes brushed back, sometimes brushed to the side.
