Samantha: You have a lot of nerve telling me to get a wax. If you were in Aruba the natives could bead your back. And it's not just there: every time I blow you I feel like I'm flossing.
When Charlotte is crying into the pillow, we can see that she's gotten black eye make-up on it. The splodges of make-up disappear twice during the scene, most noticeable just when Carrie walks in holding the baby. See more...

|Original entry||After Charlotte gives Carrie her engagement ring for the down payment on her co-op, wouldn't Carrie still have to qualify for a mortgage loan? It would have made more sense if she had asked one of her more well-to-do friends to co-sign the loan for her. It wouldn't cost them anything (unless Carrie defaulted, of course) and it would explain how she managed to buy a New York co-op with $1600 worth of assets. [The assumption here, is that Charlotte is giving Carrie a ring that is worth around $30,000 for her down payment. Not $1600. (It's a VERY large diamond, Trey was exceedingly wealthy). It would still be difficult to sell, but in NYC it's possible Carrie would get a high selling price from the right jeweler. Carrie had to either buy (meaning at least come up with a down payment) or vacate her apartment within 30 days. Since she is now able to afford the $30,000 down payment (the necessary amount was shown on Big's check); than we could reasonably assume Carrie would then qualify for the rest. All she has to do now, is make monthly payments that are probably not much more than her current rent was.]|
