Bit of trivia - when Peter Parker finally gets the nerve to talk to Mary Jane, he nervously says "Let's get some lunch some evening". This is exactly the same line the hero of the Sam Raimi film "Crimewave" says when he asks the heroine out. Is Sam Raimi thumbing his nose just a little at the critics of "Crimewave"? I think so. Also, the same yellow Olds was used in the final chase scene of "Crimewave" (as in most Sam Raimi films) along with a lot of the same stunts (punch through the windshield, etc). See more...
