Continuity mistake: During the Xmas day scene, Markus receives a Sony portable CD player as a gift from Will. However, before the gift's unwrapped, the Sony box is visible on the table. (00:51:45)
Character mistake: When Sir informs Kelly that she made the drill team, he says Captain Rigby instead of Major Rigby.
Deliberate mistake: When MIB agents exit the lift to get into the main hall of the MIB Office, the lift opens halfway up the wall and they need to go down a little platform. But when K and J return during the lockdown and face the trashcan with guns, the lift opens at floor level, so it can be conveniently peppered with bullets. (01:02:05)
Suggested correction: The building is in lockdown so it is no surprise that the lift is changed to a less flamboyant version. Even in the first scene, there are some doors there.
Other mistake: Even though it is snowing throughout much of the movie, none of the snow seems to stick to any of the characters' fur. Even during the fight scene when they are rolling around in it, they are never covered with white.
Character mistake: When Stuart calls home from the pay phone he's talking into the wrong end of the phone.
Visible crew/equipment: When Officer Romero and Arthur are alone in the house, handcuffed to the brass shelving unit, as she says, "Help me or I will crush you like a damn bug," a crewmember wearing glasses and a blue shirt is seen crouching on the floor, at the bottom right of the screen. Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the movie during the skateboard scene with Shaggy and Scooby riding along the conveyor belt, Scooby grabs a hook and both Shaggy and Scooby jump off of the skateboard. You see the skateboard falling off the conveyor belt, but in the next scene it is on the conveyor belt and being crushed. (00:03:20)
Continuity mistake: During Marty's drive to the bogus address, when he is done speaking with Monty, just as he says, "Wolf out!" he pulls the phone wire and the earpiece actually pops out of his ear, but in all of the following shots that earpiece is still in his ear. Since the super-glued earpiece is one of the main plot points, this is bizarre to say the least. (00:44:25)
Continuity mistake: Toward the beginning of their drive, while the girls are singing "Bye, Bye, Bye" the position of the window behind Mimi keeps changing. Sometimes it is all the way up, then it is part-way down, then back up again.
Continuity mistake: During the scene when Mr. Devlin is in De L'Air, the bug store, the eyes of the young black woman with whom he is speaking change back and forth from blue-gray to brown. (00:15:18)
Factual error: Near the end of the movie, Rob Schneider lets himself out of the police car. This would be impossible since the rear doors of police cars don't have handles on the inside.
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie, Eddie Murphy's character is trying out for the cop show. While arguing with the man trying out as chief, Eddie Murphy slams his hands on the table. When he does this, and throughout the scene, his gun holster and shoulder straps are clearly visible. But after he slams his hands down, and the camera cuts to the directors of the show and then back to Eddie, the holster is gone. The camera then cuts back to the directors and then to Eddie a second time, and the holster is back.
Continuity mistake: When Chris Rock and Anthony Hopkins are being chased through the woods, they crash into a tree near the end of the chase. When it shows the front of the Mercedes Benz crashing, the licence plate is torn from the car. Then in the next shot, the plate is simply dented, but still attached to the car.
Continuity mistake: Carmen is wearing white sneakers riding with Juni on the magnetic transporter. After jumping off the magnetic rider and entering the hidden temple, Carmen is wearing black sneakers.
Continuity mistake: On the double date when Juwanna goes to the bathroom and kicks off the shoes, one lands on each side of the toilet. The next scene shows them side by side.
Continuity mistake: In the showdown between Austin and Britney, when the view goes to a close up of her machine-gun breasts, she has significant cleavage but when it zooms out she has no cleavage. (00:06:10)
Revealing mistake: In the scene where Calvin is driving with Ricky after bailing him out of jail and Ricky tells Calvin to pull over so he can toss the gun, you can clearly see that Calvin isn't actually turning the steering wheel. You can notice this more after Ricky gets back in the car and Calvin drives away and does a hand-over-hand turn.
Continuity mistake: When Toula goes to meet Ian at the school where he works, and they are talking in the hallway, her arms occasionally move from behind his neck to the front of his shoulders. The continuity is correct at the bgeinning of the scene, but at the end it happens a few times. (00:48:05)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where the townspeople are fleeing to the mall there is a shot of the Deputy driving the car. You can see the top left hand corner of the windshield is covered in green goo, but when you see them parking the windscreen is completely clean. (01:03:35)
Revealing mistake: When Jake is driving Andrew to Melanie at the battlesite, Jake is driving with the truck in the park position. (01:11:00)
Suggested correction: Or it's a manual 3 speed on the column in 2nd gear while driving slowly through town.
