Audio problem: After the aeroplane crashed, a dinosaur stepped over it and the windows shattered making the typical sound of made-of-glass things when broken. They are made of plexiglass (a sort of fibrous plastic).
Continuity mistake: In the British Museum, when Rick and Ardeth are saving Evie, Rick gives her a .45 pistol and they start to shoot the guards, her pistol fires once and the slide locks back meaning the pistol had no ammo, but she keeps firing as if the magazine was still full. (00:39:47)
Continuity mistake: About 10 minutes into the movie, when the truck is chasing the 2 college students in the car and starts ramming them, the bumper and the trunk is smashed in. The shot changes and shows the car's rear end and it is in perfect condition. This repeats at least 3 times.
Other mistake: When everyone is looking for Bobby, Matthew Lillard says that it is no use shouting because the glass is 100% sound proof. Yet when he is trapped in the cage, he hears Maggie screaming directions for him to dodge the ghost - not sound proof at all then.
Continuity mistake: When the members of the brotherhood beat up Mani until he is dead, they pick him up above their heads. The tattoo on his torso appears to be on his right side, whereas in previous and following scenes the tattoo is on his left side. That shot is flipped.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Thora Birch's character goes to a café with her psychologist, the psychologist takes a bite of a cake and puts it back on the table. In the next scene, the cake has not been touched.
Continuity mistake: The antenna of the CB radio switches sides on the car continuously.
Continuity mistake: When Dorothy is letting Campbell live in her home, he picks up his bag and puts it on his shoulder. When he leans in to kiss her, there is no strap on his shoulder, then it's back again in the next shot.
Visible crew/equipment: At one point, as a Black SUV parks in front of a building, the cameraman and two other people are seen reflected in the black paint of the vehicle's door.
Continuity mistake: During one scene in the film Bones' girlfriend is looking at an old picture of her & him. You see her holding the picture and Bones turns and looks at her and she screams and she drops the picture. At the end of the movie the main character finds the picture and is looking at it. Bones once again turns his head and looks at the person. However, it's the same clip as before because you see a woman's hand with red nail polish holding the picture.
Revealing mistake: When Kay-Em kicks Jason in the face during the fight sequence, you can see Kane Hodder's goatee. (01:03:40)
Continuity mistake: The first time we see the young doctor doing his "lobotomy" in London Hospital (to the girl that was married to Prince Edward), Ian Holm comments on the procedure for some guest as they stand behind a glass window. You can clearly see the young doctor doing the third strike with his hammer in a reflection in the window. The movie cuts back to the young doctor and he is doing the third strike for a second time.
Visible crew/equipment: While the group is deciding whether or not to take the blocked-off route 666, both Lou Diamond Phillips and the woman he is talking to are sporting equipment and crew reflections in their sunglasses, most notably the big, white reflectors.
Continuity mistake: After Cassie has met Shawn at the band stand, Shaun reaches out and holds her right hand, yet when it zooms in for a close shot of her, she is twiddling her scarf with her right hand, yet when it zooms out again, Shawn is holding her hand again.
Continuity mistake: Gordon mentions that his wife accidentally spilled hot water on his leg and burnt it, but the actor only occasionally limps on it, although we are shown that he has an injured leg. This is mentioned on the commentary.
Revealing mistake: Dan goes through the fraternity's records, and sees Devon's face in photographs going back almost 100 years. Notice how badly Devon's face is superimposed onto the earliest photographs (it's hard not to).
Continuity mistake: When Remy falls through the barricade she is wearing a G-string, but when she strips down to mix up the scent she is wearing different underwear.
Revealing mistake: Have a look at the shot of the rear part of the train exploding as the locomotive pulls away from it. If there was ever a more obvious model shot, with cheesy, jerky bouncing toy trains and Action Man (TM) dolls, then I haven't seen it.
Continuity mistake: When Grace and Ms. Mills are sitting in the living room you can see a clock on the right, but in the next shot it's disappeared.
Continuity mistake: Aaron and Steven are talking in front of 3 human statues. When they begin they are on the left side of the front statue and when they change the angle of the camera they are on the other side of that statue. (01:10:50)
