Visible crew/equipment: Near the end, when Rodmilla and her daughters are requested to appear before King Francis, in the first shot facing the king and queen, there is a beige narrow mat in front of the large patterned rug, which is not in previous or following shots, specifically used for crew/camera tracking. Plot hole: Suzie pulls out some of her teeth with a pair of heavy pliers. This would leave conspicuous tool marks on the teeth that would be visible to the naked eye, let alone under forensic examination. The conclusion would be that Suzie is missing, not dead, and the whole plot would unravel from there.
Other mistake: The envelope with the letter for Amanda is suddenly in a very good condition as it ends up in the peanut bowl... even though it has been in the trash, had chewing gum attached to it, been trodden on, had a beer barrel rolled over it, etc....
Revealing mistake: When Hallie trashes Annie's cabin and the huge water balloon is about to fall on Annie's head, the camera is at a downward view and Annie clearly steps into the trail of the balloon instead of jumping away. (00:18:05)
Continuity mistake: When Joe is on the yacht talking to his father, Joe is mixing up martinis, pours them, and adds an onion to one, and then an olive to the other. The camera cuts away to his father and then cuts back and now the second martini has no olive, so Joe adds an olive again. (01:30:11)
Factual error: When Reese Witherspoon's character is sitting at the desk reading, there is a cheerleading trophy and the cheerleader on it is wearing a mini skirt, - they didn't have mini skirts on the cheerleading outfits then. (01:08:20)
Continuity mistake: When Robbie and Julia are making their friend the limo driver run through the obstacle course to prove his driving ability, you can clearly see both right-side hubcaps come off the car. Then, just a few seconds later, the hubcaps are back on the limo.
Continuity mistake: When the young Chinese girl is kidnapped, while in the car, her tie is on. When she tries to fight the guy her tie is off in one shot, then back on again a few seconds later. There is also no blood after the first shot, but when the shooter opens the back door, there is blood on Soo Yung's face, but mid fight, the blood is missing, and again blood is present when she runs out. Other mistake: In the end credits, the filmmakers misspell the name of the town they wish to thank. They spell it "Coupville", but it's actually spelled "Coupeville."
Plot hole: In the end of the film it is heard the police want to exhume the body of Charles Lee Ray from his grave site in New Jersey. Now when Chucky and the crew get to the grave site they find and kill a coroner who is digging up the body. He is the only one there at 1am, by himself, a lonely coroner without any police officers, after all this is a police investigation and I doubt the cops would have him there alone. Then right at the end the Detective who is hunting them arrives. Now he is a cop from Lockport, about six states away. A. Why did he drive all that way to see the body? B. A cop from all the way down there shows up but no new Jersey cops are at the scene?
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Charlie and the snowman (his dad) are getting chased by the bullies, the sled gets split in half into two sled pieces. But you can clearly see that in some parts of this scene, Charlie is riding a real snowboard, and in others he is riding the half piece of sled.
Continuity mistake: When they are driving away in the white car they go on their side and drive around and then get flipped back up and there is no damage to the car whatsoever.
Revealing mistake: In the scene where Captain Love and Antonio Banderas (as Zorro) meet in the hallway of the hacienda, two guards rush down the hallway and drop their rifles and swords. Zorro asks them to bend over and then proceed to kick/nudge them out the window. If you watch carefully, you'll notice that the guard on the right (furthest from Zorro) reacts to the kick too early. Continuity mistake: In the scene where Sabrina and Paul are sitting at a table in a cafe, when the camera is on Sabrina's face, behind her seems to be a perfectly dry and generally sunny day in Rome, but when the camera is on Paul, behind him shows people walking around with umbrellas and the ground is very wet.
Continuity mistake: When Edwards is teaching Hunt the alphabet, whenever he turns it around or you see it from another angle, the upper and lower case changes.
Continuity mistake: When he has the accident after hitting the dog, there is a big very noticeable dent in his truck. After he leaves the camp place it is gone and never seen again.
Continuity mistake: When the Dude is in Jackie Treehorn's estate, he pencils over a pad of paper to see what Jackie wrote down while he was on the phone. He then hurriedly crumples up the piece of paper and shoves it in his wallet. Then, when we see the Chief of Police of Malibu looking through the contents of The Dude's wallet, the paper is there, neatly folded in fourths.
Continuity mistake: When the guys visit Kenny in prison, they put their fists on the glass, the angle of their fists changes between shots. Most notably Scarface (on the right).
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Michael (Jeremy Piven) kills his brother Adam in the parking lot, you can see that when he pulls out of the parking space, he turns his vehicle around. The camera cuts from an outside view (where Adam's minivan is) to inside Mike's car. If you watch, Mike turns his steering wheel to the left but his car turns to the right when the camera switches back.
Continuity mistake: When the matchmaker grabs Mulan's hand her palm is shown to be covered in ink. She then unwittingly paints herself a goatee. However, immediately after this she grabs the teapot's handle but no ink rubs off onto it. The ink miraculously disappears from her palm as well.
