Continuity mistake: In the final round, when Happy and Shooter McGavin are about to tee off on the first hole, they show a picture of the 18th green with the Volkswagen Beetle already crashed into the TV tower. Continuity mistake: When Uma Thurman visits the radio station for the first time, she asks Janeane Garofalo if she can sit down by the microphone. As she's standing in front of the desk she's wearing a cardigan with a handbag over her shoulder. When she turns round to say "you promise not to laugh?", the cardigan and bag have disappeared. Continuity mistake: In the scene where Claudia Karvan and someone else are sitting on stairs outside her flat talking you can clearly see the microphones at the top of the screen.
Continuity mistake: After he met the woman who helps them, Stephen Baldwin is wearing a shirt over his shoulders. In the very next cut, it is missing, but it reappears in the next cut.
Continuity mistake: During the prison revolt, Tally interviews Fernando. How is it possible to cut from Tally to Fernando, when the interview is a live feed with only one cameraman (Nat)?
Factual error: When the plane is taking off while the animals are on the runway they duck down hoping it will stop and it becomes airborne shortly before hitting them. In actuality they should have been blown backwards from the jets like ragdolls.
Continuity mistake: Jamie steals a gay magazine at a newsagent. Before he pinches a copy, there are three copies on the shelves. When he pinches it the number of copies on the shelf indeed changes from three into two, but when he leaves the shop, lo and behold, there are three copies on the shelf again. (00:42:15)
Revealing mistake: In many scenes, particularly the dance scene in the bar, Michael's wings disappear and/or reappear. If you look closely throughout the movie, his wings are often completely gone.
Continuity mistake: In the first scene where we see David Helfgott, there's a mark on his ring finger, probably made by a wedding ring. In that scene David isn't married.
Factual error: After Hardy dies and they're going through his possessions, a football scarf is pulled from his kit bag. The scarf has a Sunderland AFC badge. The film is set in World War II. The badge on the scarf was introduced in the 1970s.
Continuity mistake: When we first see Daniel in the taxi and the guy jumps in the back, when Daniel removes the steering wheel from the car the armrest has all four electric window switches present but when he changes the wheel whilst driving with Emilien in the back for the first time, the armrest only has one switch meaning a right hand drive modified car was used in motion shots. Hard to spot but its there.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Alec Baldwin and Demi Moore are in the car and he's threatening to run over her son, who is riding a bike in front of them, Alec swerves at the last minute, and Demi looks over her right shoulder and collapses in relief, but in the next shot, she's looking over her left shoulder, collapsed in relief. Continuity mistake: Right after Clooney picks the kids up from pre-school. It was superhero day, so the kids are dressed in homemade costumes. If you watch the little girl, she changes back and forth between superhero and little girl within the blink of an eye.
Continuity mistake: In the scene when Jerry arrives at the top star's house to make sure he's still staying with him, he arrives in an Eagle Vision car, but later leaves in a Pontiac Grand Prix.
Continuity mistake: During the press conference at the U.S. Open where Roy begins to list the companies who are sponsoring him, he says that one of them is "Woody's Smokehouse" when the patch on his jacket says "Wally's Smokehouse".
Continuity mistake: When John Travolta is showing the young boy how to tighten the air filter top, he makes sure the boy gives the wing nut an extra twist. Next he notices a car coming up the road and he leaves. When the FBI agent comes over and looks inside the hood of the truck, the air filter top is again off, the air filter is out and the carburetor is exposed.
