Continuity mistake: Throughout the entire film the tattoo on George Clooney's neck moves position and changes shape.
Continuity mistake: In the final round, when Happy and Shooter McGavin are about to tee off on the first hole, they show a picture of the 18th green with the Volkswagen Beetle already crashed into the TV tower. However, this doesn't happen until Happy gets hit by the car later in the game. (01:09:25)
Continuity mistake: When Uma Thurman visits the radio station for the first time, she asks Janeane Garofalo if she can sit down by the microphone. As she's standing in front of the desk she's wearing a cardigan with a handbag over her shoulder. When she turns round to say "you promise not to laugh?", the cardigan and bag have disappeared. Continuity mistake: Arnold goes to the gay bar to solicit the help of the guy he saved at the beginning of the movie. The guy is wearing a white shirt and a vest black/gold lamay. During their conversation he takes off the vest, then it cuts to another bartender. When it cuts back the guy has the vest on, another shot and the vest is off again. (00:08:05 - 01:10:50)
Continuity mistake: When the cow blows by the truck, the truck is driving down an empty dirt road with water on both sides. During the shots of the occupants, the road behind the truck is paved and dry. Also in one of these rear shots a truck (Red Chevrolet Blazer) drives by in the opposite direction. (00:42:25)
Continuity mistake: When General Grey tells the President not to engage until they have visual, in the President's close-up the exterior of this F/A-18 Hornet is quite different than what was shown in the earlier shot, as the canopy closed over him. All the rivets around the canopy have disappeared and the 'danger' triangle is much closer to the name Patrick, the seat differs, etc. Plus the fact that the canopy and hull are actually one unit in the second shot. Continuity mistake: When Sonic and Tails are fighting metal Robotnik, he shoots glue at Tail's tail. Tails says he can't fly to help Sonic, but when he gets the piece of concrete to surf across the water on you can see that his tails are not glued together.
Continuity mistake: Nick Cage is chasing Mason in the yellow Ferrari. The windshield breaks at least twice, but is perfect in the next shot. (00:45:55)
Continuity mistake: During the early part of the movie, there are a number of references to the Blackhawk crew, yet the wreckage is that of a Huey.
Continuity mistake: When Hale shoots into the train from the helicopter, he wounds Deakins in the right arm, but later during the movie, the wound is nowhere to be seen. Especially during the fight scene at the end when Deakins takes off his jacket. There's no blood or wound anywhere on his right arm.
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the film, as Bette Midler, Diane Keaton and Goldie Hawn sing the song "You Don't Own Me," watch Goldie's shoes. For the first portion of the song, which takes place inside, she is wearing spiked-heel shoes with multiple straps. Then, as they dance through the doors onto the street, she is wearing shoes with a single strap and a much thicker heel.
Continuity mistake: When Jon Favreau talks on the phone for the first time, there is an answering machine next to it. Then when we see the phone system again the answering machine is gone. Then Jon walks into the next room and when he walks back the whole phone system is gone. (00:04:30)
Continuity mistake: At the beginning of the movie when Ashtray is knocking at his father's door, his father answers the door with a chocolate bar that already has a bite taken out of it. When his father lets him and closes the door, the chocolate bar is still wrapped.
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Picard, Worf and Hawk are outside the ship and want to separate the transmitter dish from the hull, Picard must move a kind of tube out of an console and must turn it from a low to a high position. In one shot the tube is in the high position, in the next shot it is in the low position and then Picard pulls it out and turns it in the high position. (01:06:40 - 01:10:35)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Claudia Karvan and someone else are sitting on stairs outside her flat talking you can clearly see the microphones at the top of the screen.
Continuity mistake: As paramedics inflate Jordan's assistant Stan Podolak following his lone bucket, the scoreboard shows the Monstars ahead 77-67 with 10 seconds remaining. Yet following his treatment and the surprise entrance of Bill Murray, the score has changed to 77-76 with no time having elapsed.
Continuity mistake: When they are in the Whitehouse, and Beavis has turned into Cornholio, he picks up the "Red" hotline phone on the President's desk, and is talking to the nuclear bomb officials. Later, when they are in the President's office again, getting their certificates, there is now a black phone on the desk, where the red one was. (01:03:05 - 01:11:00)
Continuity mistake: When Ghostface is trying to kill Tatum in the garage, she tries to go through the doggie door. From the outside shot, she is out of the door from her arms and up. From the inside shot, she is out of the door from her hips and up. (01:04:20)
Continuity mistake: When Jennifer Tilly is in bed wearing some kind of skimpy pink thing, only one strap is always on her shoulder, but between shots it changes from left, to the right, back to the left, repeatedly. Every two or three shots.
Continuity mistake: Sandy is fixing the deck with bare feet when Flipper knocks Sandy into the water with his tail, but as he is falling into the water, Sandy has black water shoes on.
