Continuity mistake: In the scene where Cannonball is driving the Mustang and Redman is driving the Charger through the incomplete Interstate, they begin bashing each others' cars to bits. Several shots show the badly damaged cars and the results of the multiple hits taken. However, when we are shown the cars just before the bridge jump sequence, neither car appears damaged.
Continuity mistake: In the shot where Boris, Annabelle (as Ellen) and Ben are in the car , and turn left in front of a lorry you see a police car next to the pavement (not the ones that have fallen of the lorry) and it is parked underneath a sign. After you see Boris etc. again in the car, they are parked further back than before.
Continuity mistake: In the last inning of the championship game, Buttermaker opens a beer in a short brown bottle (perhaps a Pabst Blue Ribbon, Red White and Blue, or Red Stripe) right before Amanda grounds out. When he exits the dugout following the at-bat, he's holding a Coors.
Revealing mistake: At the end of the film, when Tony crashes Tim's car at the driving test centre, you can see it has been changed for a wreck as just before he crashes there is damage to the front left hand side that wasn't there before.
Continuity mistake: Right at the end when the man takes his mask off, a strand of blonde hair hangs out from the back of "his" head. In the next shot the hair is dark brown.

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Bruce Dern and Barbara Harris are eating hamburgers. He has two on his plate, from a back view she reaches over and takes one. He then removes the cap from the ketchup bottle. The shot switches to a view from his back and the cap is back on the ketchup. He then removes the cap again.

Revealing mistake: While Funn and Bell are warding off their attackers by throwing Coke cans at them from the machine, Eggs is busy rewinding the retrieved film reel around his body. However, when he's done 'winding', it's obvious the amount of film wrapped around him is significantly less than what was on the film reel.
Continuity mistake: As Bob crashes his car into the caravan, you can see that the car is already damaged.
Plot hole: Since the criminals who used the dogs to rob the bank in the first movie were never apprehended (No criminal worth their salt would tell the authorities their caper was spoiled because the canines ran off with their loot), there is no way the people who are hunting the dobermans in the beginning of this movie would know the dogs were still carrying the cash.
