Continuity mistake: When Dr. Sawyer is giving Kris the exam, during the part where Kris is doing the physical coordination test, we see Kris from Sawyer's point of view, and Sawyer is drumming his fingers. When the shot switches to Kris's, he is fingering his eyebrow. When it switches back, fingers drumming. Finally, when it switches back again, his hands are neatly folded in front of him.
Revealing mistake: Cary Grant shows off his ice skating moves but you can tell it's a stunt double. The double is a bit shorter than Grant. Also in the same sequence, the two other skaters have noticeable doubles as well.
Other mistake: In the 1946 MGM film "Good News" - there is a minor flub in the last musical dance number -The Varsity Drag. About 131.13 into the film- a woman dancer wearing a pink dress - just to the left of the screen- stumbles forward and almost falls onto her face while dancing. Continuity mistake: To show time has passed, the wooden fence on the beach deteriorates, but the top of the fence, with Anna Muir carved in it, was never anywhere near the water - it was way up inland, far away from the water's edge - but now it is in the water, waves washing over it.
Continuity mistake: Bob Hope asks to take a peek at the execution chamber. He peeps from the hole, nudging away the lid with his forehead, and turns away. The lid came to a complete stop, but in the next shot when Ronnie walks away here's the lid swaying again as if he had moved his head from the window just that moment. (00:02:25)
Continuity mistake: In the scene where Jeb shoots Prentice, we see Prentice with his right hand covering the wound just below the right rib cage. When Jeb carries him inside, Prentice's right hand is now covering the left side rib cage. (01:05:55 - 01:06:35)
Continuity mistake: When we see a man and woman sitting by a lake, the plate of pancakes on the picnic blanket moves from the left to the right between shots.
Continuity mistake: As Johnny is at the window taking to Maura she invites him in the door. He turns towards the door and it opens. Then the camera angle changes, the door is closed, and opens again. (00:17:00 - 00:18:00)
