Most mistakes in 1938

Lady Vanishes, The (1938) |
When Iris Henderson and her two friends arrive at the hotel, Iris orders dinner and asks that it be sent up to "our" room. The waiter arrives when the three are changing. But later, when it's time for bed, Iris says good night to her friends, who leave her alone in the room (as she must be for the sake of subsequent developments).

Lightning Conductor |
In a sequence on London Transport's Chiswick skidpan a three axle LT class AEC Renown bus turns into a two axle STL AEC Regent while on the move, then back into an LT when parked.

Bringing up Baby |
In one of the early scenes where Baby, the pet leopard is introduced, you can tell that the scene was shot twice and overlapped. Baby's leash has an obvious gap in it, and the two halves move independently.

You Can't Take It With You |
When Jimmy Stewart is talking to his girlfriend, he gives her a flower, and at different points in the conversation, she has it over her shoulder, or on her lap, depending on the angle of the shot.
