Most mistakes in 1931

1 Frankenstein (1931)

There is a large painted backdrop of clouds in the mountain scenes near the end of the film. Vertical streaks can be seen in the backdrop that the paint, for some reason, did not cover. These streaks really stand out in the restored versions of the film.

When the camera is tracking in to Peter Lorre whistling in the cafe. In that shot you can see a part of the screen get noticeably darker because the camera is blocking one of the lights. This happens in other scenes, noticeably, when the camera makes shadows.

When the Tramp takes the blind girl home in the Rolls for the first time, he hands her her cane.  But when they arrive at her house, she doesn't have her cane and he doesn't hand it back to her.
4 Dracula (1931)

In the scene where Renfield enters Dracula's castle, it is past midnight and on the outside, it is dark. But there is a LOT of bright light streaming through the windows into the castle, throwing well-defined shadows.
