Other mistake: It's been mentioned that Sid sets his clock for 8:25 and it goes off at 7:00. Here's some more errors for Sid's crazy clock physics. When Woody is saying "Psst" to Buzz from inside the blue plastic basket, the clock on the wall says 6:25, yet the alarm clock next to Buzz says 6:55. It goes off 5 minutes later and after Sid takes Buzz out of the room, the clock on the wall has changed to 3:10. When Woody is talking to Sid's toys a minute later, the clock now reads 10:00. The maximum amount of time that passed between the already wrong 3:10 and the 10:00 is 5 minutes. You can tell because Sid wanted to launch Buzz strapped to the rocket ASAP and Woody wanted to rescue Buzz from his current strapped-to-a-rocket state very fast.
Continuity mistake: After Gerry gets smacked in the face by the 'broken' suspender clasp, we see the silver clasp land under the dresser. Yet, when he's moaning and lifting his leg to get onto the bed, we can actually see the clasp still intact on the front suspender that came loose, which is dangling right behind him (just look between his legs). Of course, in the next shot, that clasp is gone. Since the silver clasp is one of the plot points, this is bizarre to say the least.
Continuity mistake: When John and Catherine are in the hangar at the runway, the Cessna's tail number is N3035C. When the plane is shown in the air, the number is N3973F. When they land, the tail number has changed back to N3035C.
Continuity mistake: In the bedroom scene the girl is holding a clear cup full of beer. The camera goes off her and when it comes back she is holding a blue cup. The camera goes back off her then on her and the cup is clear again.
Continuity mistake: When Sam is in his bedroom, after he finds the Cube sliver it falls and dramatically burns a hole through the floor into the kitchen. But Sam's bedroom is over the living room (there is nothing on the ground floor below Sam's elevated bathroom, and in the first movie Jazz hides in this open space), and the kitchen is actually located between the den and dining room, at the other end of the house. If they were to follow the actual floor plan of the house, the Cube sliver would have landed in the area of the piano in the living room, but where would the fun have been in that?
Continuity mistake: When Gordo leaves Simon and Robyn for a few minutes to handle a work thing, Simon starts mocking Gordo in his absence. Simon tells Robyn that Gordo wants to nail her and Robyn says "Stop it," but Simon continues his mocking of Gordo. At the end when Simon is listening to the recording that Gordo made of that conversation, Robyn's "Stop it" is absent.
Revealing mistake: When the family and Paddington are approaching the fictional "Westbourne oak" tube station the real original sign for "Maida Vale" is in shot.
New this month Continuity mistake: In the bus scene on the Golden Gate bridge, right after the bus flips end-over-end, we see it sliding broadside from Pops' point of view through the hole in the police car windshield, at most a few hundred feet ahead. At this point, the bus falls over the side of the bridge, breaks apart, then catches and hangs there. In the ensuing wide angle shot, even though Pops was a mere block away and racing at top speed, his car is nowhere in sight. What's taking him so long? Did he take the scenic route? Perhaps stop for beverages? Meanwhile, as Kyle and Sara snap out of it, exchange some dialogue, and begin scrambling upward to safety with John Connor again in hot pursuit, a full minute passes before Pops finally rolls in to save the day.
Revealing mistake: In the first scene where Natalie is checking her phone whilst driving, you can see the shift selector is in the park position, suggesting the car is on a trailer for this driving scene.
